I just use CC cream as my based after my normal skincare prep and before I put my favourite foundation.
As the foundation Kryolan TV Stick that I used have no SPF (sun protection factor) in it [1]. That is why I put on CC cream before foundation. Plus, I do notice that CC cream helps a lot in improving my uneven skin tone [2].

No more eyeliner. Since I need to be ready within 30 minutes only.
Regardless the simple look, most people compliment on it. And even my girlfriend ask me more about CC cream 😊 [2].

Definition of CC cream [3]:
CC cream is a marketing term coined in the wake of the marketing term Blemish Balm cream or Beauty Balm. "CC cream" is used by some brands to mean Color Control cream, or Color Correcting cream, and some brands claim to reduce the appearance of skin redness or sallowness or to improve uneven skin tone. BB creams and CC creams are both tinted moisturizers containing sun protection. There is no scientific definition for either term, nor is there quantifiable basis for difference between BB creams and CC creams: differences between the two vary from brand to brand. BB (Blemish Balm) cream was originally formulated in Germany and has in recent years gained popularity in Asia, especially South Korea, and is also gaining popularity in Europe and North America.[1]
Coverage can vary greatly among the different brands,[2] and differences are more often than not minimal when compared to BB creams.[3][4] Some users apply them as primers rather than as a replacement for foundation. The first tinted moisturizer marketed as a CC cream appeared in 2010, the product of a Singapore-based brand Rachel K.[5][6] Most cosmetics companies offer both BB- and CC-creams without any particular market leader in 2016.
WHAT IS CC CREAM [4]?
Let’s back up a minute. In order to understand what CC cream is, you first need to brush up on your BB cream knowledge. BB cream (the “BB” can stand for beauty balm or blemish balm) is makeup that has skin care benefits. Those benefits could be anything from SPF to antioxidants to hydration to shine control. CC creams take that concept a step further, offering more coverage than BB creams. Whereas BB creams tend to be lightweight and relatively sheer, CC creams are often a little thicker to provide heavier coverage. So, it makes sense that the “CC” in the product’s name stands for color correcting.
SO, HOW EXACTLY IS CC CREAM DIFFERENT THAN FOUNDATION OR CONCEALER?
Similar to foundation and concealer, CC cream offers coverage and can help to conceal spots you want to keep hidden. But unlike foundation and concealer, CC cream offers more than just traditional coverage—it has skin care benefits, too. Depending on which formula you reach for, a CC cream could help to brighten your skin or reduce the appearance of dark spots, just to name a few of the things that it can do. CC cream is also usually formulated with SPF. It’s a multitasker’s dream, basically.
WHO CAN USE A CC CREAM?
Good news: CC cream is an awesome choice for just about anyone who wants to wear some cover-up! Have discoloration that you want to hide? Try a CC cream. Looking to perk up your complexion? Try a CC cream. Look for a formula that can address your specific concerns or needs. If you have oily skin, you may want to consider using an oil-free formula, on the one hand, and if you have dry skin, you may want to think about opting for a hydrating formula on the other.
What is CC Cream: Covers Everything You Do Not Want Seen [5]
CC cream stands for "color corrector" or "complexion corrector". These creams offer more coverage than a BB cream plus anti-aging benefits (AA + BB = CC!). A CC cream will effectively hide unsightly redness and hyperpigmentation.
Look for CC creams with Niacinimide and vitamins B and E to help recapture skin’s youthful glow. Niacinimide exfoliates to reduce the look of wrinkles, while vitamins B and E help strengthen skin's natural defense against moisture loss. A CC cream with SPF 15 will also help protect against sun damage.
So Easy, So Simple: How to Use and apply a BB or CC Cream
Using a BB or CC cream is blissfully simple. Just apply and blend evenly with your fingertips or a make-up sponge for natural, sheer coverage. Wear it alone as a daily moisturiser or layer under your favorite foundation for natural-looking, beautiful skin!
↑This is main reason why I sometimes just use CC cream for my lazy day look. As it gives more coverage than BB cream and helps a lot for my ageing skin condition [5] 😌
Till then, have fun in experimenting with your daily make up look😉
