I am glad that I am able to join my boss to attend this PPRN workshop today [1]. The workshop is held in Risda Johor building, Bandar Baru Uda [2]. It is initiative from UTM Xcite team for this matter [3].
Slight information on PPRN grant [1]:
The Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) provides an answer to this predicament through its Public-Private Research Network (PPRN) initiative which connects businesses and entrepreneurs with higher education institutions.

Presentation from UTM Xcite team on PPRN grant [3]. |
Morning branstorming session.
We assist the participants from SME to narrow down the crucial problem of their production that need immediate solution. So that they would be able to explain better if selected to present their problem to apply for the PPRN grant.
Basically, assisting them to make proper way to presents their work.
We entertain 7 from 61 participants in our brainstorming group. It is just 11.4% portion.
It is more on making the process flow in flowchart presentation, assist them to get their annual production and sales figure and etc..
Finished lunch food. |
The lunch food is masak lemak nenas udang, fried fish, ulam, sambal belacan, white rice, watermelon and sambal goreng tempe.
The look of my travel hand wash refilled bottle with shower creme of Ginger and Turmeric by Cosway [5]. |
Continue brainstorming session after lunch. The participant finalizing the given form. Since some of them still unable to grasp the outcome that we have explained for them to write in the given form.
The one and only selfie of mine for today workshop. |
The look of overflowing bettel leaves (sirih) in Risda bulding area. |
The look of snack that I get from the workshop participants and my friend from Iraq. |
Left one: pineapple tart (top), kuih cakar ayam (bottom). Both given from the workshop participant. Both also very tasty.
Right one: turkish delight from my friend that come back from Iraq.
To be frank, it is not an easy task. It is time consuming, take lots of patience and endurance.
Now I am able to understand why not many people or intellectuals able to spare their time for such activity.
But it is a good exposure, sharing and knowledge transfer to society. As they finally able to make correct flowchart of their production, know how many product they able to produce and complete daily and etc.
Hopefully I am able to spare my time again for such activity. To be part of people who are willing to give back the gained knowledge to society.
Till then, have fun in sharing your knowledge to community😉.
