My precious dehumidifier

I bought my rechargeable dehumidifier last May 2015. Bought 2 unit.

To use the rechargeable dehumidifier, need to plug it to charge. The you can see few of the silica gel turned blue after charging it for 11 hours.

The look of pink silica gel that indicates it is wet and need to charge to dry it up before usage. At least for 24 hours or until all silica gel turned blue in colour.

How to use:

When the indicator window is blue, place the unit in a suitable location. the unit will take moisture from the surrounding area,(the unit will increase in weight as it gathers moisture). When the unit is full, the indicator window will become pink.Plug in the unit and recharge overnight or until the indicator window returns to blue. The dehumidifier will now be ready for use.

Verdict:

●a very handy equipment that helps me well to dry up my electronics appliances when accidentally splash it with water or exposed to humidity. Really worth money spend.

For example, splashed water to my smartphone. I normally turn off my phone. Then put it in a sealed plastic bag along with fully charged dehumidifier. It helps to fully absorbed the humidity that have seeped into my precious smartphone. I normally leave it for up to 12 hours. Just my preference. Can leave it at least 6 hours.
