Gotong royong (communal works) to dig up holes this evening.

The School of Engineering, SKE did organize gotong royong (communal works) this morning. But for us in Vecad lab, Embedded lab and DSP lab, planned to do so in later in the evening.

At this moment, manage to dig up 3 holes.

Here already have 2 holes.

I plant pisang emas (banana) plant in this hole.

We are planning to plant fruit trees here. So that the less fortunate students able to enjoy those fresh organic fruits. One of our way to contribute for the society and less fortunate indirectly. Also to educate others on organic gardening.

At this moment,  we have planted:

• Misai kucing
• Sabah snake grass (daun belalai gajah) 
• Cuba oregano (pokok bangun-bangun) 
• Papaya
• Pisang emas 

You are most welcome to contribute either:

• Time to care for the plants
• Seedlings
• Plant offspring ; fruits and etc
• Energy to help dig more planting holes
• Organic fertilizer
• Organic pesticide
• Baby rabbits, to gain free fertilizer and meat from it.

Around 5 peoples involved in the gotong royong (communal works). We are able to dig around 7 big holes as preparation to plant more plants next week.

Hopefully all of us able to take care of the planted plants till they produce good fruits.
