I make a check up after 7 days brewed my kombucha scoby last 1 April 2019 [1]. A weekly check up is needed to ensure the scoby is growing healthy and not infested by ants or fruit flies. At this moment, it still not fuzzy enough to got second fermentation stage. I intended to leave it for 1 more week.
Can see the new white scoby layer on top of this container of mine.
