Whether to keep with the current practice of fertilizing and care. Or need to change or upgrade to different and other fertilizer and care. Just part of my effort to know what is the best for my banana trees.
It does feel nice to be able to harvest banana (pisang berangan) fruits on time. With such size, weight and lovely look. A small yet satisfying achievement for my gardening works and hands on experiment at home. This is second generation of planted banana (pisang berangan) tree at home. The first generation started to bear fruits last 19 March 2021 [2]. Did not have information of the banana (pisang berangan) fruit weight as I sold entire bunch/stalk (tandan) to my customer.
Other data for comparison :
1. Weight of 1 unit banana (pisang berangan) fruit planted by my colleague = 109 gm last 17 April 2019 [3]
2. Weight of 1 unit banana (pisang berangan) fruit planted by my colleague = 102 gm last 25 April 2019 [4]
3. Weight of 1 unit banana (pisang berangan) fruit planted by my colleague = 106 gm last 11 October 2019 [5]
This is from same offspring. However, all 3 above is planted in other place with different caretaker/gardener and different care techniques. At least the data can still be used for comparison purpose.
Till then, be safe while harvesting your planted banana (pisang berangan) fruits at home.
