The look of ubi bakar (roasted tapioca) using fire.

This is taken in the evening of 15 August 2019. It was in the dedicated lot in Agro land plot in UTM Skudai. Going the for the first time after obtaining the lot for cleaning process of the lot before replanting. Able to harvest 1 tapioca plant, planted by previous lot owner. Quite a good progress for first visit.
The look of ubi bakar (roasted tapioca). Taste great. Somehow it taste like ubi pulut. It is advisable to eat it while it is hot. As when it is cold, the smokey taste is quite intense.
The look of the harvested tapioca. The soil is quite porous. Quite easy to dig out the tapioca plant. Will need to harvest the rest of tapioca plant in order to clean the lot for replanting.

Burning dried leaves after cleaning up part of the lot area. At the same time, able to deter the hungry mosquitoes away. Able to put 2 pieces of the harvested tapioca inside the fire earlier to let it cook. It did turned out well by the time we finished cleaning work and take a break.
We do put out the fire completely with water before leave the lot. Standard operating procedure (SOP) to ensure safety of the agriculture area, especially during this hot dry season. Able to openly burned dried leaves since this lot is away from residential area.

It does feel nice tasting ubi bakar (roasted tapioca) after cleaning up the weeds at the lot. Being able to harvest tapioca on first day cleaning the lot. Going to plant legumes in the spot afterwards.
Bringing in organic fertilizer to the lot in Agro. The trolley does comes handy since its wheel is big enables to go through the uneven road smoothly.
Worth time spend for such first time agriculture consulation works in that lot.
Next step is to make outline of the plot and arrange type of plants for the lot. While slowly clean it up.
Going to make bingka ubi with the rest of the harvested tapioca.
Till then, have fun in roasting your harvested tapioca.
