I decided to make
bingka roti from unfinished my expired wholemeal bread as my breakfast today. I use evaporated milk, brown sugar, wholemeal bread and vanilla essence for it [1]. I steamed the mixture in my travel lunch box [2].

It does feel just nice. |

This picture focus on the one at the back. |
The cooking process:
|
The shredded wholemeal bread. |
|
Mixing evaporated milk with brown sugar and vanilla essence. |
|
The look after I pour the milk mixture into the shredded wholemeal bread. |
I do not put eggs, flour since I just want to make simple
bingka roti. It does taste well. Just that I am unable to eat more that 2 scoop. Since the evaporated milk does have richer and denser texture for me than fresh milk.
Would be nice to put sour ingredients such as mulberry to complement the rich and sweet taste of the steamed
bingka roti.
Still can improve the recipe to get the outcome that I desire later.
Till then, have fun in cooking sweet desert😉.
