🌬️ Fastest Way to Cool Down Inside the Car

This was taken on the evening of 7 July 2025, when I finally managed to snap a photo of one of my favorite little hacks. By placing my portable fan right on top of the car’s air-conditioning vent.

It really does make a difference. The portable fan helps direct the cool air exactly where I need it most, giving me instant relief. Especially during those blazing hot days when my hot flashes start to flare up.

I'm truly grateful for this simple, portable fan. It’s been a daily lifesaver, not just in the lab or office, but inside the car too. A small item with a big impact on my comfort.

Until then, enjoy the cool breeze from your trusty portable fan. And stay refreshed wherever you are. 🚗❄️

Road Trip Powerhouse: Maximizing a 100W Car Charger with a 4-Port USB-A Hub

We’ve all been there: you’re on the road, your phone is dying, the dashcam needs continuous power, and a passenger is eyeing the lone charging port with deep desperation. On the evening of 28 May 2026, I decided to stress-test an aggressive charging setup in my car to see if a single cigarette lighter adapter could truly handle a multi-device mobile workstation.

The verdict? It handled the load like an absolute champ, proving itself to be worth every single sen spent.

🏛️ The Mobile Power Grid Architecture

To achieve maximum multi-device throughput without causing a charging speed drop, I combined a heavy-hitting 100W Car Charger with a 4-Port USB-A Hub.
Here is exactly how the power split was allocated across the dashboard:

Power Source Port -> Intermediate Link -> Connected Target Device -> Real-Time Performance Verdict 1. 45W USB-C Port -> 60W Rated USB-C Cable -> Samsung Galaxy A34 -> Maximum Speed: Fast charging engaged instantly with zero speed reduction.
2. 55W USB-A Port -> 4-Port USB-A Splitter Hub -> Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 + Automotive Dashcam -> Flawless Power Split: The dashcam remained fully operational while the Huawei drew steady power simultaneously.

The Power Allocation Win: Many cheap car chargers throttle your primary fast-charging port down to a crawl the exact millisecond you plug a second device into the adjacent slot. This 100W brick maintained dedicated, independent rails, keeping the Samsung at top speed while the USB-A hub managed the secondary utility devices perfectly.

🏎️ Next Phase: The Ultimate Stress Test

With the smartphones and dashcam running beautifully in parallel, this charger has already earned its permanent spot in my center console. However, the ultimate evaluation is still to come. The final boss for this mobile power grid will be plugging in my Lenovo ThinkBook laptop to see if the 45W USB-C delivery rail can successfully maintain a full office productivity charge on the go. Stay tuned for that update!

Portable fan as part of tool used daily

On the morning of 4 April 2025, I decided to test out my trusty portable fan. I switched it on at 9:40 AM and kept it running until 12:50 PM.

At the start, the battery showed 75%, and by the end of the session it dropped to 35%. Throughout the test, I set the fan on wind speed level 3 out of 5.

A good little check to see how well the battery holds up for a few solid hours of use!

🌀 The Downside of Using an Ultra High-Speed Fan

Entry made on the noon of 3 July 2025.

So here’s something they don’t mention when you buy an ultra high-speed fan. When a hair getting trapped inside.

I noticed it yesterday, but only this morning did I manage to get a closer look and try removing it. It was a struggle. I’d say I only managed to pull out about 30% of the trapped hair so far. The design is super slim, which makes it nearly impossible to insert bending forceps or bending tweezers properly. I ended up using an earpick, which was oddly the most effective tool I had on hand. On top of the honeycomb hole noise reduction design. Which makes it impossible to clean through the back side.

Still experimenting with what tool works best for this particular portable fan model. It’s a little frustrating, but I guess it’s part of owning high-speed gadgets. With small design, big airflow, tight corners.

Also it does hurt very much when it accidentally falls on my feet after Zohor prayer of 4 July 2025. Fortunately it does not bruise my aging right feet.

Until then, have fun figuring out how to clean your ultra high-speed fan. If you’ve found a clever tool that works, I’d love to know!

Solving heating 65 W fast charger that exceeds 44°C

The new 65 W fast charger does charged my Samsung Galaxy A34 phone within 1 hour 18 minutes from 31% to full charged 100%. However I do notice it becomes very hot before my phone get to full charged. I turn it off when the temperature exceeds 44°C. Despite only use 1 unit USB-C port from the available 2 unit USB-C ports and 1 unit USB port. After tell a friend about it, using a fan to cool the charger down is one of the suggested solution. This would not void its warranty. I do check with my thermometer. The charger temperature did not exceed 40°C with fan turn on. To be exact between 34°C to 37°C. Without the fan turn on, the charger temperature easily reached 44°C upon 10 minutes usage of only 1 USB-C port used.

The cooling set up that I used at home with this  65 W fast charger.

With this setup, there is no issue of temperature to the 65 W fast charger exceeds 44°C. Despite all 2 unit USB-C ports and 1 unit USB port occupied. For duration more than 2 hours. At least I do not have to return the bought 65 W fast charger. And it does works well to fast charging my Samsung Galaxy A34 phone. As with the previous 65 W fast charger, it takes 1 hour 50 minutes from 30% to full charged 100%.
Until then, have fun in solving your heating 65 W fast charger.

The look of my 65W W Desktop Charger

On the morning of 28 February 2025, after assisting in unboxing a newly purchased 70W Desktop Charger, I had the opportunity to compare it with a 65W Desktop Charger that I had been using for my laptop and phone charging needs.

Observations on the 65W Desktop Charger:
-The 65W charger reaches temperatures of up to 44°C after charging my laptop for just 13 minutes, resulting in an 11% battery increase.
-To prevent overheating, I used a mini fan set at wind speed level 2 to cool it down.
Reason for Receiving the 65W Desktop Charger:
-I was gifted the used 65W Desktop Charger since the new 70W Desktop Charger had arrived for my boss's use.
-The comparison between the two chargers highlighted the potential improvements in power efficiency and thermal management with the upgraded 70W model.
While charging both my phone and mini fan simultaneously, I kept the mini fan turned on during charging to help cool down the used 65W Desktop Charger. The blinking LED indicator on the mini fan signified that it was still charging, as the battery had not yet reached full capacity. This is why it is best to use fan that have battery level indicator. So that could avoid over charging.
In the end, I opted to use the newly arrived 65W Desktop Charger, as my boss wanted to test the longevity of his old 65W Desktop Charger under his regular usage conditions.
Until then, enjoy using a reliable 65W Desktop Charger for your charging needs!

High-Speed Mini Turbo Fan vs. Ultra High-Speed Fan: Which One Wins?

This morning of 1 July 2025, I finally had the chance to compare two powerful portable fans. Which is the High-Speed Mini Turbo Fan and the Ultra High-Speed Fan. And let me tell you, the differences are noticeable. If you're debating whether to upgrade, here's what you need to know.

Weight & Battery: A Major Difference

The first thing I noticed? The Ultra High-Speed Fan is  19% heavier than the Mini Turbo Fan. Why? Because it packs a 6000 mAh battery compared to the Mini’s 4000 mAh. That extra power comes with a trade-off in portability, but is it worth it?

Wind Power: Twice as Strong!

If you crave serious airflow, the Ultra High-Speed Fan blows the Mini Turbo out of the water. Which is literally. The wind strength is twice as powerful, making it perfect for those scorching days when a gentle breeze just won’t cut it.

Nozzle Attachment: A Game-Changer for Hair Drying

One of my favorite features? The nozzle attachment on the Ultra High-Speed Fan. I tested it on my damp hair, and after 10 minutes at wind speed level 80, my hair went from 90% damp to 75% dry. That’s impressive for a handheld fan!  Battery from 88% left 66% after usage.

Battery Drain: What to Expect

Using the Ultra High-Speed Fan at max power does drain the battery faster. It drops from 88% to 66% in just 10 minutes. But given the performance, it’s a fair trade-off.

Final Verdict: Is the Upgrade Worth It?

Absolutely. If you want stronger wind, longer battery life, and extra features like the nozzle attachment, the Ultra High-Speed Fan is worth every penny.

Have you tried either of these fans? Let me know your thoughts. And until then, enjoy that powerful wind blast! 💨

Stay cool during this hot blazing weather.

Review after using 6000 mAh portable fan for 2 days duration

This is taken on the evening of 4 May 2025. Where I managed to remember to take pictures of the used portable fan with capacity 6000 mAh. Have been using in for 2 days since 3 May 2025. Which I only charged it on the noon of 4 May 2025.
Back up work on noon of 4 May 2025.
The few issues faced using this portable fan is:
- it does not have display to show battery level left how many %.
- also to show charging have reached how many %.
- no display to show the used wind speed.
Other than that, it works well in cooling my body from the hot flashes of perimenopause.
Until then, have fun in using a good portable fan.

My small compact portable fan

This is taken on the noon of 20 April 2025. After the parcel delivered yesterday noon. Upon testing turning it on, battery level at 80%. The portable fan battery capacity is 4,000 mAh.
Able to use it during beraya session in my cousin house in Kukup, Pontian. A good time to test out its wind strength.
The look of portable fan lanyard on my neck while driving to send accident patient to Pusat Kesihatan UTM on noon 21 April 2025.
The look of portable fan on my chest during Town Hall FKE 2025 last 25 April 2025.
The setup of my late lunch last 25 April 2025 in HSI cafeteria. Where the portable fan turn on wind speed level 40 to help cool my heated body down. Despite the cafeteria is air conditioned.
I have to drag the spaghetti into the mushroom sauce instead of the other way around. The only way my brain can function to eat it.
Until then, have fun in using good portable fan for beraya.

Extension with 65 W USB-C ports

This is taken on the noon of 11 July 2024. My customer just taken the extension. I have to lend my 240 W USB-C fast cable to test the extension. Unable to fathom why he does not have USB-C fast cable inside his laptop bag. Despite I have helped to order 2 unit of 60 W USB-C fast cable early this year.

This extension was suggested by me as it is able to eliminate the usage of 3 existing devices. Which is the customer laptop's adapter,  fast charger for phone and extension. Become this 1 extension with 65 W USB-C ports.
So far, my customer is very satisfied with this extension. Which helps to lighten up his laptop bag. Well, see who's the consultant here.
Until then, have fun in testing extension with 65 W USB-C ports.

Night photography session with my round RGB video light

This is taken on the evening of 31 May 2024. Where I managed to take good pictures of my plants at night. After remember to bring necessary gear for my round RGB video light.
This picture is taken using photo mode setting in my Samsung Galaxy A34 phone.
This picture is taken using night mode setting in my Samsung Galaxy A34 phone.
I am able to see that the night mode setting gives much better output for my preference. Well, it is a hands-on session of self experiment. Since angle of the video light also contributes for a better picture outcome.
The ballsy bodyguard that do his job well guarding my side during the night photography session. Well, he have eaten his given share of cat food before my photography session. This is male stray cat that always come to my house when he heard I open my house door. He was quite an alert cat.
New flower buds to my kesidang flower plant. At new branch end.
Notice 1 unit cherry Barbados already turned red in colour.
Close up look on the harvested red cherry Barbados fruit. I did not managed to weigh it before consumption. As I immediately plant the seeds after finished eating it. If not, I might forget to plant the seeds if do it later.
The look of my soursop (durian belanda) fruits on its tree.
The look of new flower buds to my soursop (durian belanda).
All pictures are taken using night mode setting in my Samsung Galaxy A34 phone.
The look of photography setting. I am using round RGB video light with phone holder that have cold shoe mount and Samsung Galaxy A34 phone.
I used the cold shoe mount that comes with the round RGB video light to mount the round RGB video light to the phone holder.
I am using Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 phone to take this picture. The only issue for this part is the phone holder makes the round RGB video light to be on either left or right phone at its portrait structure. Which I found it would be better if the phone holder able to position the round RGB video light on top of the camera location. Would be better and easier to adjust the photo taking session to my preference.
Until then, have fun in taking good pictures of your planted plants.

My review on dust mite UV corded vacuum

This is taken on the morning of 24 September 2023. Where I managed to spare time to test out dust mite UV corded vacuum. It is worth money spend. It cleans the bed sheet effortlessly.
Cord length 5 meter.
Weight 350 gm.
I normally clean my bed cover using lint roller. Before washing it once per 1 or 2 weeks time. But using this dust mite UV corded vacuum is about 90% much cleaner than using lint roller.
Would definitely helpful to clean up bed in cheap hotel and homestay before usage. As I have experience with friends get bite by bed mites during stay in cheap hotel. Also in 2010 where my Mother and siblings were bitten by bed mites in the homestay during my 3rd brother's marriage. I was safe since I sleep in my sleeping bag on the same bed. My way in self care of myself from bed mites when sleeping in unknown area.
Good also for those who have sensitive skins condition and dust allergy. As I have encounter few people who says they have dust allergy. But did not even have a vacuum. Yet able to drives a Honda Jazz. I have long stop give people to borrow my things. As they tend to abuse it since it is not theirs. If you need to use it, buy it yourself. As I also put effort to save money to buy mine.

Updated on 13 July 2024.
One of my girlfriend asking about bed bugs. So this is one from other steps I take to ensure my safety from bed bugs. With my aging body condition, it is way better to prevent than cure.

Until then, have fun using dust mite UV corded vacuum for your house.
