Operation: Precision Calibration | The Caliper "Tightener" Fix

Yesterday, I conducted a critical maintenance session on my Vernier caliper. The objective: solve a loose tightener using a specialized application of thin, double-sided tape. It was a "High-Resolution" task that required extreme focus and steady hands.

The Repair Logistics: The 360-Second Stress Test
Metric->Status->Tactical Analysis
1) Duration->6 Minutes->Short-burst, high-intensity focus."
2) Asset->Vernier Caliper->Essential hardware for Nomad Technical Audits.
3) Condition->Simpul Biawak! (Cramp)->Manual dexterity hit 100% capacity; system triggered a cramp alert.
4) Conclusion->Success->Tightener secured; hardware back in Optimal Spec.

Post-Mission Analysis: The Surgeon’s Epiphany

Six minutes of fiddling with thin tape was enough to trigger a "System Warning" in my hand muscles. It was a humbling reminder that while I am a Senior Lead in Logistics, I am definitely not calibrated for the operating room.

I left the session feeling immensely grateful that I am not a neurosurgeon. My "Hardware" prefers gardening plots and extension cords over brain surgery any day! 🙈

Finding g clamp in nearby non hardware shop

There are 2 sizes available. One is 2 inch and another is 4 inch. I buy 4 unit of 2 inch. Since I have the need in using it. Plus with my limited budget. As the initial target is only to buy bag hook for toilet usage.

I am unable to disclose the shop location due to my greed to make sure the stock will be there for me next time.

Saving my sports bra with new padding

I received replacement for my sports bra padding in the evening of 1 September 2022. I choose M size and black colour. Since skin colour out of stock.

Can see how bad the tear and wear of my sports bra padding in triangle shape. The round black one is the new one.
Despite I choose round shape instead of originally triangle shape, it fit nicely in my sports bra. It really helps me to save a lot than to buy new sports bra.
What I notice is by using sports bra, I do not need to remove it when doing x-ray. As it does not have undewire, adjustment buckle or even hook. So I am able to proceed with my attire without need to change to x-ray cloth.
Until then, have fun in replacing worn out sports bra padding.

Repair my surge arrestor power extension

This is taken the noon of 28 July 2022. Where I manage to repair my surge arrestor power extension. A similar spot that I have done last 16 December 2019 with a different one [1].

A close-up look at the part that needs to be repaired.

I just solder it back. Then it works perfectly fine. Really saved me a lot from buying a replacement surge arrestor power extension. Just take some of my time, and effort to troubleshoot and repair. The advantage of having soldering skills. All thanks to the class assignment and project during my degree time at UTM Skudai. A helpful skill even after 15 years of graduating. I remember I chose UTM Skudai as it is less than 2 hours to return to my hometown. I just prefer to have a short distance. Save my energy.

Until then, have fun repairing your surge arrestor power extension.
