Almost fallen off mirror in prayer room

This is taken on the noon of 6 June 2024. Where I am able to see the mirror almost fallen off from its frame.

I wrongly measured the thickness of the mirror frame. Which is 1.4 cm instead of earlier measurement of 1.2 cm.

Until then, have fun in using vernier caliper to get exact and accurate measurements.

Refill hand soap in used container

This is taken on the noon of 5 June 2024. Where I managed to refill hand soap in used container. Which I have put also label. Hoping the bottle would remain there for public usage. As last time when I filled the wall mounted soap dispenser, it was emptied by unknown. After 3 days it was filled.

Until then, make sure to remember to put label on the refilled hand soap container. 

Putting refilled hand soap in ladies toilet

This is taken on the noon of 5 June 2024. Where I managed to refill the empty hand soap pump bottle. And put it in ladies toilet.

I do put on reminder for the bottle not to ve taken away. As somehow all soap put in this ladies toilet will be taken away and out without trace.

As per my toilet usage last 16 June 2024, I  am glad to see the soap bottle still there.

Cleaning up prayer room (surau)

This is taken on the evening of 21 May 2024. Where I stay in the prayer room (surau) to ensure to do my Maghrib prayer before go back home. As it was 6.40 pm when the decision is made.

I do noticed the full to the brimmed bin after taken my wuduk (ablution). Which I just proceed to do my Asar prayer first. 

Saw this left empty food container on the shelves. Despite the signage to not eat in the prayer room.

Stuffed tissue inside perfume box.

I collect all visible garbage that I can see around the wuduk area. Take them all out along with the one inside bin. The food container does emit smells when I shove it into the large bin on the corridor. It smells like it's been since Sunday or Monday of this week.

Well, this prayer room is no longer cleaned by cleaner. I know few lecturer that helps with the cleaning up. I just do what I can for my part. 

Just hope someone can put new plastic inside the bin for easy cleaning up later. Since I do not have large plastic bag inside my bag that time.

I normally pray in the lab. Hardly use the prayer room. Since I prefer to limit my human interactions ever since covid outbreak.

Fortunately I managed to remember to put plastic inside the bin. I do it after reached lab. Before the scheduled research discussion.

Guiding prospect student to the correct faculty

This is taken on the morning of 11 June 2024. Where I just finished submitting online claim file to RMC level 3 in building F54. Then one guy stop me and asked me about where to go. As he wanted to ask for diploma enrollment for computer science. I was quite stupefied with such question. Fortunately I remember to ask for which entry level and course. Thankfully my lecturer was nearby. I immediately flagged my lecturer to help advised this guy. Let the expert do the talking.

The look of my lecturer guiding this guy to the correct place to ask using Google maps in that person phone. So that would be easier for him to navigate his way to Faculty of Science Computer. The beauty of technology. 

However, after that I end up forget to do another task. Since was disrupted with this guiding session. Well, fortunately it is not urgent and still can be done tomorrow. 

The funny part is, my lecturer asked me later in the evening. Whether the guy is Indian or not. Since his Malay is good. Which I clarified that yes the guy in Indian. And he does have a good fluent Malay language.

Putting freshwater turtle/terrapin to nearest water source

This is taken on the noon of 2 August 2024. Where I was driving at the back of my colleague car. Then he suddenly stop at the middle of the road. Which makes me honk him. Turns out he was shooing a freshwater turtle/terrapin to the side of the road. After he drive on. I decided to pull over. To take the freshwater turtle/terrapin. As I can see it try to cross back the road. I u-turn. Then go to the nearest water source that I know. Located nearby Pusat Kesihatan UTM. 

I have to end up throw the freshwater turtle/terrapin inside the water. As it takes too long to go into the water. Can see near the end of the taken video. Where it pop it head out of the water and look straight at me. I drove off after that. 

My colleague even texted me. Asking where I went. Since he is not able to see my car at the back. Fortunately I have the video as proof what I do.

Actually, I have been collecting such freshwater turtle/terrapin from the road ever since I am in primary school. As I know it can be crashed upon car tyres. Learn it from my late father on such. He used to bring it back home. Then put inside large basin. Where me and my siblings will try out best to stay silent and peep. To see the freshwater turtle/terrapin pop out its head. We normally release it to nearby lake in the next evening. I do miss such scene. Well, it will always be my fondest memory.

Refilling soap into 2 container

This is taken on the noon of 9 May 2024. I managed to remember to refill soap container in 2 places.

348 ml in lab pantry. Then 595 ml on wall mounted soap dispenser in female toilet. I need to start look for new stock of 2 liter shower cream after this. For next refilling process.

Until then, careful when refilling soap in container. 

Installing screw tightener on pipe in public toilet

This is taken on the noon of 19 September 2023. Where I managed to spare time to install screw tightener to pipe in the ladies toilet in Block P04 in Faculty of Electrical Engineering, UTM. Which I have installed screw tightener more than 4 times even before covid19 outbreak. As I have enough with the hose falls down on the floor each time I want to use the toilet. Cannot imagine how visitors used such toilet condition in Research University.

The look of Febreze in 40 ml spray bottle

This is taken on the noon of 28 October 2023. The look of Febreze that I put into 40 ml spray bottle. The writing of it using permanent market already started to fade away. After write on it last 24 October 2023. Of the refill date.

It was from my 640 ml refill pack of Febreze with Downy scent. I love the refill pack have spout with lid. Makes it much easier to put into the 40 ml spray bottle.

I am able to use this Febreze in 40 ml spray bottle to freshen up public prayer room and public toilet after using them. So that the next people who use it have a pleasant smell upon using it.

Some little things that I do

This is taken on the evening of 28 October 2023. Some of little things that I do to help make my day and others better.

Where I managed to bring the decanted Febreze in 40 ml sprayer bottle. Which I am able to use it to freshen up public prayer room and public toilet after using it.

Opening wall mounted soap dispenser

This is taken on the noon of 24 October 2023. Where I managed to Google how to open this wall mounted soap dispenser in the toilet.

Next step will be to fill in the empty soap container inside the dispenser. This is because last time I have put bar soap with its container. End up being thrown away. Well my colleague have different theory. Where he thinks it was actually stolen. Make sense also.

This wall mounted soap dispenser has not been refill since early this year.

I have asked 1 lady staff there to share to refill this wall mounted soap dispenser. Which I will be in charged of check and refilling it on weekdays. Regardless it was not under both of our job scope. Part of our charity works. And way to give back to society. And for visitors in UTM to use it well.

Update on 30 October 2023:

Refilled the wall mounted soap dispenser with 262.8 gm from 2 liter of Royal Jelly shower cream. 

Put label refilled date on the wall mounted soap dispenser. Also first level of soap drops catcher. After seeing the soap drops on the sink. 

Put reminder on the 2 liter shower cream bottle. As my boss use 3 press per usage. Like someone who is greedy after a long time withheld in the forest. The most suitable Malay word would be "jakun". That is why more people should only use bar soap.

Update on 1 November 2023:

Adding larger bowl on the sink as second level of soap drops catcher. 

Can see the first level of soap drops catcher is near full to the brim.

Feeding 5 stray kittens with rice mixed with deboned fish

This is taken on the noon of 24 October 2023. Where I managed to spare time to cooked rice with 1 selar kuning fish in it. Which then I plucked the fish bones by hand thoroughly. As the kittens is less than 1 month age. Plus, prevention is better than cure.

Feed the 5 stray kittens 3.59 pm.

A little container for cat biscuits supply

This is taken on the noon of 17 October 2022. Where I finally remember to bring some cat biscuits in the small container I have put since last week in my daily bag.

The fill up container should weight less than 150 gm. 

Despite the amount is not much, still sufficient enough to attract the cat who did not want to budge from side of my car after tea break on evening of 18 October 2022. Just part of my attempt to have a peaceful tea break and keep the cat safe when I am driving off.

The receiver spend less than RM 100 for changing both tyres.

The look of the pump bought by the receiver. He spend less than RM 50 for it.

Dead fluffy kitten under parked vehicle outside

This is taken in the morning of 27 October 2020. Where my baby cat Furball found a kitten dead under parked vehicle outside house compound.

Furball keep on following the dead kitten despite my shushing.

I immediately bury the kitten to prevent from it decaying and emit unpleasant smell on the road. I use small shovel and drain scoop to scoop the kitten from under the parked vehicle.

Making herbal chicken soup for wounded stray cat outside lab area.

This is taken early morning today. I managed to cook herbal chicken soup as recovery food for wounded stray cat.

The look of the huge wound. It is like chunk of skin peeled off around 6 cm x 7 cm size.

The huge amount of pus on tissue from stray cat wound.

This is taken late evening of 30 August 2019. As one of the male stray cat found wounded morning of 29 August 2019.

The pus is oozing out when I hold the cat by its neck to get closer look of his wound.

I am able to spray wound medicine to its wound before leave the faculty yesterday. His body is heating up that time.

Somehow today I get hunch to press nearby skin of its wound area. And even my colleague who helped to pin down the cat was surprised to see so many pus coming out of the wound puncture. There is a very thick white pus flakes in the yellow pus discharge. Unable to take picture nor video of the pus discharge process and the cat wound since my hands already covered with pus residue. I should really make phone holder on my shawl.

This is more than 18 cut sheets from my toilet roll tissue used to wipes the cat pus.

Tester delivery of pisang berangan and karipap pusing for today.

Due to nearing Ramadhan month, my boss wanted to give away free tester of pisang berangan and karipap pusing to the administration staff to the main office. Since he have laboratory to attend, I have to be his delivery personnel in the morning of 25 April 2019.

This packed ones are for Dean and Deputy Dean of School of Electrical Engineering. So that they are able to taste the sweetness of organic pisang berangan.
