Beraya time

This is taken on the evening of 12 April 2025. Where I managed to join my Aunt's family to beraya to her younger sister house.

Which I even able to lock this little one as he keeps on escaping from the photo shooting session.

I stayed in the lab after beraya session on the noon to my friend house. Managed to tidy up vecad lab pantry while waiting for the gathering time.

Activities on evening

This is taken on the evening of 18 June 2024. Where I am doing some tidying up to the planted plant outside lab. While waiting for a retired friend to come to the lab to see all those plants.

It is good to be still be able to do all theses things. Makes me appreciate more my aging body and time of being alive.

Start with nasi lemak with fried egg and sambal sotong (squid).

Then ripe red jambu madu for snack. Self grown one.

It was a full yet fulfilled day.

Activities on Saturday

Since I have some free time on Saturday, 25 November 2023. I decided to assist my last time degree friend who is the new lecturer in FKE, UTM since October 2023.

I received the ordered lemon type Taiwan fragrance and lemon Meyer for her. Since she loves to drink water with added lemon juice drops and slices.

My lunch after the morning activity around 2 pm. Auntie Anne almond pretzel with caramel dip.

My next lunch at 3 pm. Half of a whole chicken in barbecue flavor from Baker's Cottage.

This is after 2 times filling in the water tank with detergent for carpet cleaning. To be frank, it is best to use kracher carpet cleaner to clean the whole carpet in the lab. As mine was only for spot cleaning usage.

The cleaning process took me 1 hour time. Also my hair dryer that I bought last 2011 burned out after wrongly use it for longer than 15 minutes of continuous usage. Well, that would be my next task to repair it later. 

I end up with a very sore right arm after take bath 9 pm. Might need to revised the work flow in doing the spot cleaning later.

It is not that relaxing activity since I am already in bronze age level. However it is a thing that is satisfying to see the outcome. Need to be more calculative and more proper when doing such activities.

Unmovable cat napping in a huge vase.

The look of stray cat that is napping heavily on huge vase beside my breakfast restaurant morning of 17 April 2019. This cat might have feast on huge amount of breakfast earlier. As it does not even budge after I tickle his nose.

My weekend outing to Pekan Nenas, Pontian.

We went out for keropok lekor losong hunting (fried fish sausages) in Pekan Nenas last 2 February 2019, after Zohor prayer.

Her neighbour did a very impressive job with land size around 6 feet×8 feet only.

Free movie ticket, popcorn and water set as birthday gift from TGV Cinema.

Since last 2 days is my birthday,  I get free movie tickets for 2 with free popcorn and water set from TGV cinema.  Since my membership almost expired 10 January 2019, my friend decided that we should go renew the membership along claiming the birthday treat. I choose Master Z: The Ip Man Legacy [1]. It is a good satisfying movie compared to the rest available in the selection.

These are few pictures taken during my ex-lab mate wedding event today in Dewan Dato Bahaman, Taman Pilah Jaya, Kuala Pilah, Negeri Sembilan.

Regardless the nicely taken picture, I am still the shortest among all in this picture😂. Yet I am satisfied with my decision to use flat shoes for the comfortness of my feets😊. They are more precious to me.

We manage to reach to the place just in time the bride and groom arrive accompanied by the sound of kompang around 1.56 pm. We start hit the highway around 10.47 am.

It is quite far journey with winding road. As we used the old road to the event hall. The post graduate students does enjoy the served food. They even asked me where to find such food as they never taste it in any eatary places that they have been. Think I need to look for one for them later.

Relaxing with Dell after 1 whole day do thesis writing and submission in FTI, UTM.

It was a long day in PhD thesis editing. Thankfully manage to send the document before end of office hour.

The submission in the office of Fakulti Tamadun Islam (FTI), UTM JB.

It was not an easy task. I even have to assist in printing, wait for binding and then submission to FTI, UTM JB office. Where after that, I even assist in submitting the thesis abstract via email to the FTI, UTM JB personnel. That all is not even included in my service work scope. But I am able to do it all with good pay. For me,  if you want everything to be free, please help yourself to do it all😉💪.

Gifting organic Cuban oregano to my friend yesterday

We spend time together yesterday to catch up and do some activity together. I manage to remember to pack Cuban oregano for my friend.

The plant is safe and fresh despite I leave it in the car till 3 pm when give it out yesterday. All thanks to my heat proof case😉. And my friend really grateful to receive such gift. Seems like first time receiving such😊.

I also manage to get free tester coffee of these 2 type freshly brewed while waiting for them to pack the asked coffee grounds. They are very nice😍.

The look of 2 types of coffee bean used in the given free drink to me in Starbucks in Paradigm Mall, JB yesterday. My friend was astounded to see me getting 1 free drink after entering the shop lot to get to me. Well, we did share the nice coffee together.

My late lunch yesterday: prawn mee rebus in Zainals Place

Yesterday, me and my friend end up go for late lunch in Zainals Place in my quest to eat mee rebus.

The prawn mee rebus is very delicious. The yellow mee that being used does taste nice. There is no after taste bitter on the yellow mee unlike the typical ones. They  even make the yellow mee themselves. The broth of mee rebus also using less small prawn. Which I like since too many small prawn will make the mee rebus broth out of balance and taste.
There also have mee rebus tulang, mee rebus daging, lamb stew, daging masak lemak and more.
Few of my friends do suggest to taste their lamb stew. I manage to take away small pack of it. Cannnot wait to taste it for my lunch today😉.

They use concept self service. Where customer will need to the counter to choose what kind of mee rebus they want. Then order drink and proceed to pay before sitting down to eat.

Worth to watch Tomb Raider movie and late lunch mee rebus

I think the last time I meet this friend of mine after the incident my Mum's house perish in fire in year 2014.

Since I do have some time to spare yesterday, we decided to meet up to catch up with our lives.

My friend insist to watch movie. So we decided to watch in Cineplex in JBCC. As I wanted to go to Daiso in Komtar JBCC afterwards.

I choose movie Tomb Raider as I have watch Black Panter movie earlier.

I am glad that my friend do enjoy the movie. Especially the bicycle race part. It is really intense yet interesting.

We are unable to locate mee rebus in the Komtar JBCC food court after went to Daiso. Previously there is one good mee rebus stall before the Komtar JBCC being renovated in 2007. I do remember bringing 3 of my close friends (Azreen, Yee Chong/Joshua and Ai Lin) dining there last time during our internship period.
End up we go eat mee rebus in Zainals Place, near Taman Sentosa [1].

The continuation of the Woman's day with my girlfriend today

We manage to arrive home after the plant nursery pit stop today [1].

My girlfriend were very excited and immediately re-potting and re-arranging her plants after Zohor prayer😉.

She give me some of mango that she harvest from her husband home town in Perak. I took the one in purple case.

Manage to harvest her organic belimbing buluh for my stock and share with few others close ones of mine😉.
