The tired look of Furball the cat after 0.2 km morning brisk walk

This is taken in the morning of 26 September 2021. Where I bring Furball the cat to her usual morning brisk walk route. After I finished tending after my plants: watering and spraying them.

She started to rest after 0.2 km of morning brisk walk. Which I end up to carry her home. After unsuccessful attempt in persuading her to walk home. She did already eaten half of her breakfast portion nasi ayam (chicken rice) before the brisk walk. So she suppose to have ample energy to walk home. Talk about high maintenance cat.
I always bring Furball the cat for brisk walk whenever I can. In order for her to  stretch leg and built up her leg muscle.
Till then, have fun in bringing your cat for their morning brisk walk.

The look of thick froth to my self made teh tarik

This is taken in the morning. As I am craving for a good teh tarik. I only use available ingredients at home to make it. And surprisingly it taste quite good for my taste bud. With very thick froth some more.
Ingredients used : 3 Lipton round tea bags, 2.5 table spoons my homemade dulche de leche [1], 1 table spoon brown sugar, 424 ml hot boiling water and 1 home grown rose flower.
Steps: Steep tea bags into hot water with rose flower. Then I take around 60 ml the infused tea water. Add the sweet ingredients. Mix it with my hand blender whisk accessory [2]. Mix till you get the thickness of froth that you prefer. Then add the rest lf the tea water into the mixed one.
Think I need to reduce from 3 to 2 tea bags. As after 15 minutes, able to taste bitterness of the thick tea😅. Can substitute dulche de leche with sweetener (susu pekat manis). And add evaporated milk (susu sejat) for more creamier taste (rasa lemak).
Till then, have fun enjoying good homemade teh tarik.

Crispy karipap cooked using Imex convection oven

This is taken in the noon of 13 September 2021. Where I finally have the energy and focus to test the gifted Imex convection oven.

It took around 25 minutes to fully cooked with crispy outer skin. I have to check manually as the timer knob no longer move back to its original position. I let it cook for 10 minutes. Then I turn it off. Turned the karipap over to its other side. It turned out well cooked thoroughly.
The Imex convection oven was gifted to me early this year. Glad for being able to use it. Just nice to satisfy my cravings for fried food. Since I do not have air fryer or oven at home. I do apply very thin layer of cooking oil on the karipap skin.

Solving E4 error in my 2.5 liter pressure cooker

Was getting E4 error in my 2.5 liter pressure cooker when I was cooking Furball food in it. At first, I thought it was due to the dented inner pot. As I accidentally drop the inner pot in cleaning process the night before. Fortunately I have made softcopy of the manual of the 2.5 liter pressure cooker. Much faster and easier to refer. From the manual, stated that E4 error caused by:
- Float's air leakage
A. Food dregs on sealing ring or float.
B. Broken sealing ring or float.
Suggested actions:
- Clean the sealing ring and float.
- Change sealing ring or float.
What I do:
1. Check the float.
2. Take off the sealing ring. Change side and put it back.
Thankfully the 2.5 liter pressure cooker able to function after the second step done.
Then on 2 Seprember 2021, I get same E4 error again. This time, flipping the sealing ring did not work at all. Then, I try to flip the pressure cooker face down. Since I saw water vapour on the display panel. After 40 minutes, there is almost 10 ml water comes out from the pressure cooker. Then I put in my rechargeable dehumidifier. And put the lid on and lock it. After 30 minutes, then the pressure cooker able to work again. Despite it takes longer time, I am still glad the pressure cooker able to be used again without need to send for repair.

Breakfast with ubi kayu rebus (boiled tapioca/cassava)

My breakfast this morning: ubi kayu rebus (boiled tapioca/cassava). Harvested ubi kayu (tapioca/cassava) yesterday. Did not take picture of the harvested ubi kayu (tapioca/cassava) since finished quite late. I only take around 400 gm of it. Where I give the rest of the  harvest to my neighbour.

It taste delicious. I add 2 chopped garlic and ginger with 30 ml water. Use function rice maximum for 18 minutes in my 2.5 liter pressure cooker. It cooked nicely. Love the outcome despite using very little water. And the water seeps into the boiled ubi kayu (tapioca/cassava). So no waste at all. Love this way of cooking. I can taste the ginger strongly since I am using the one I harvested. Despite use around 3 cm x 2 cm size. Well, at least I am saved from bloated stomach after adding ginger in the cooking.

Comparison between my cili padi (small chili) and cili ungu (purple chili) leaves

This is taken last 29 August 2021. Where I make compilation of comparison pictures between my cili padi (small chili) and cili ungu (purple chili) leaves.

For me, the look of the leaves is very distinct. Not sure if the taken pictures able to justify much. What matter is the leaves of cili ungu (purple chili) looks different from cili padi (small chili) leaves. Where might be mistaken as weeds. Fortunately I trust my gut feeling to leave the small cili ungu (purple chili) plant. Which is why it is important to mark your germination container. This step will help prevent miss identification of the grown cili ungu (purple chili) plant.
