Baked potatoes as appetizer before lunch

This is taken on the noon of 11 April 2025. Where I get to test to make baked potatoes.

The look of potatoes before it being baked in oven.

The look of used yogurt. As I was eating it with mulberry fruits as my snacks.

I cook in oven for 30 minutes at temperature 150°C. However it is highly suggested to boil or steam the potatoes before baked in oven. In order to get fluffier and softer potatoes.

If using pressure cooker, can choose to boil or steam using meat function. Based the used 6 liter Elba pressure cooker, choose timer 0.5. Just make sure to poke holes all over the washed clean potatoes with fork. So that it can absorb the sauce used during boil or steam process.

Until then, have fun in making baked potatoes in oven.

Baking bread kneaded using my girlfriend's Thermomix

This is taken in the evening of 9 October 2021. Where my girlfriend want to make bread using her Thermomix.
The setting of Thermomix and bread ingredients.
The look of bread dough portion for me to bring back home.
The look of the less than neat bread I shape before baking it.
The look of the rising bread dough in convection oven.
The look of cooked bread. Very fluffy. Have similar texture with Papa Roti bread. The chocolate chips does complement well the baked bread.
I do help my girlfriend to unboxing her free gift that comes with the Thermomix set.
I do think this device will really helps those who have limited kitchen space for cooking appliances. As Thermomix can also be used for blending food, stir fry and a lot more. An oven or air fryer will really helps to compliment Thermomix. But the price wise reminds me back that I should just do the current cooking steps of mine😅.
Till then, have fun in baking kneaded bread via Thermomix.

My tips and tricks in heating up frozen mee hoon using my lunch box.

I love heating up my food using my lunch box.  It is easy, less monitoring needed, my food would turned out nice and moist. Plus, I am the sole user of the lunch box. Up to me to share or not. That is the beauty of being a lunch box owner😉.

Do make sure the food did not pass the large bowl rim.  If yes,  then you have to use 3 tier of the lunch box instead of 2 tier.

Ceramic bowl with lid to complement my travel lunch box today.

I wanted to make some herbal concontion today. Since I need to make it in the lab, I decided to get 1 ceramic bowl to be used in the existing travel lunch box in lab [1]. I succesfully get one with 2 lids. It fits perfectly in my travel lunch box.
Total weight is 991 gm. Dimension: 12.5 cm (height) x 12.5 cm (diameter). Able to accomodate up to 1 liter capacity/quantity.
Seems like it would fit 6 liter Elba pressure cooker nicely [9].

My late lunch food: rice and ayam masak kicap with cili padi

I used kicap manis pekat (sweet thick soy sauce) for this recipe.

Nicely cooked 40 gm rice on top part.
Both rice and chicken was cooked in the same pot at the same time.
