Shortening jeans with pinking shear

This is taken on the morning of 3 June 2024. Where I managed to shorten my newly bought jeans. I use pinking shear for it.
What I can see is by using this pinking shear, I have less fray. Where I can also take my time to sew the cut part.
Cloth edges that are unfinished will easily fray, the weave becoming undone and threads pulling out easily. The sawtooth pattern does not prevent the fraying but limits the length of the frayed thread and thus minimizes damage.[1]
I bought this pinking shear last September 2020.
Until then, have fun in using pinking shear to cut your jeans.

My way to keep pendrive stay safe on me

This is taken on the evening of 11 July 2024. Where I get an idea to use my S type carabiner on my dual drive go USB Type-C.
Which is to hang the dual drive go USB Type-C on my necklace. As shown in picture above. As I have lost my previous dual drive go USB Type-C earlier on March 2024 during printing process for my report submission. Since I just put ring on it. Did not managed to put any hook on it yet at that time. Well, live and learn.
Hopefully this time, the dual drive go USB Type-C will last longer with me.

The freshly harvested ingredients for my herbal drink

This was taken on the morning of October 2, 2024, when I found some time to harvest ingredients for a homemade herbal drink.
I brewed it for six hours at 60°C, and the next morning, I enjoyed smooth digestion after experiencing some difficulty on Tuesday. Caring for my body is something I take seriously, and I feel fortunate to still have the energy, time, and effort to grow my own ingredients for personal use. Being a bit old-fashioned, I prefer using fresh ingredients over dried or processed ones.
Until next time, enjoy brewing your herbal drinks with freshly harvested ingredients!

This is taken on the morning of 12 July 2024. Where me and my colleague managed to harvest 1 tandan pisang awak and pisang raja (banana) fruits.
Start the day with breakfast of nasi lemak with sambal sotong and udang (spicy sauc with squid and prawn). Carbohydrate needed to do the heavy works later.
The look of high up pisang awak (banana) fruits.
After cut the long pisang awak (banana) tree into half.
The clean look of cross section cut to pisang awak (banana) fruits

Video of cutting down the pisang awak (banana) tree.
My pose with the heavy tandan of 10 sisir/sikat (comb/layer) pisang awak (banana) fruits.
The look of yellowing pisang raja (banana) fruits.
The haggard look after chop down pisang raja (banana) tree.
What matter is get 2 tandan of pisang (banana) fruits. With wound free body parts. Well I still end up with bruises all over my feet. This happens when my body is tired and my brain is pushing through. That is why it is wise to gear up and suit up before do gardening works. As it is way better to be safe than sorry.
Until then, be safe while harvesting your planted banana fruits.
