🌿 Blended Noni Juice: My Energy Drink of the Day

This was taken on the bright morning of 10 July 2025, when I finally harvested one precious noni fruit from my own little garden. It may not seem like much, but there’s something deeply satisfying about using what you’ve grown yourself.

I blended the noni with some fresh mango and water. That just enough to mellow it down a little. Then I strained the mixture and poured myself a glass.

The look of used ingredients: noni fruit, mango fruit and cooked water.

After well blended.

After strain.
Ready to be consume.

That first sip? Let’s just say… noni is not for the faint of heart. It’s bold. Slightly spicy. Definitely bitter. But there’s also something invigorating about it. Like it jolts your system awake in a strangely grounding way.

It’s an acquired taste, no doubt. But for me, it’s my energy drink of the day. Raw, real, and straight from the source.

Until then, have fun experimenting with freshly blended noni juice. Who knows, it might just grow on you!

Meeting an MRI Specialist, And Surprising My Brother

It was the evening of 9th July 2025 when I found myself in an unexpected but exciting situation. A meeting a medical specialist in MRI technology. He just so happened to be a high school friend of my supervisor. And when I heard about their meetup, I jumped at the chance to tag along. Why? Because this specialist isn’t just anyone. As he was once the senior fellow resident and boss of my third brother back in HTAA (Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan), Kuantan.

Naturally, I had one mission in mind: take a selfie with him and send it to my brother. The reaction? Priceless. My brother was stunned. He couldn’t wrap his head around how I, someone in the engineering field, managed to cross paths with his senior in such a different domain. What can I say? I’ve got more connections than he thinks. And I’m not done surprising him yet.

Beyond the fun and teasing, the meeting turned out to be incredibly insightful. We dove into discussions about the MRI machine, from technical issues to power capacity. Thankfully, I’d just watched the latest Final Destination movie, which coincidentally featured an MRI scene. That little detail gave me enough of a head start to join in the conversation about Tesla strength and machine safety. Who knew movie night could double as prep for a medical tech discussion?

So here's a tip: never underestimate the power of connections, curiosity, and a well-timed selfie.

Until next time, keep teasing your siblings with unexpected surprises!

🥣 My Weekend Diet Food: Rolled Oats with Strawberry Jam

This entry was made over the weekend of 6 July 2025 when I decided to keep things light and simple with my meals. For this one, I used just 30 grams of rolled oats, 170 ml of hot water, and 2 tablespoons of strawberry jam.

After boiling water, I poured it straight into the glass container with the oats. No cooking, just let it soak. I left it for about 4 hours to let the oats soften and swell naturally. When it was time to eat, I added the strawberry jam right before serving. Simple, satisfying, and no fuss.

It’s my current go-to weekend diet food. Which is gentle on the tummy and easy to prepare. Hopefully, with consistency, this small effort helps me reach my ideal shape and weight that suits my height and age.

Until then, I’ll keep enjoying little wins like this one on my health journey. 🌿

Beetroot Smoothie That Tastes Like Ice Cream

19 June 2025 – Noon Experiment in My Kitchen

Today at noon, I tried something refreshing and a little adventurous in work place pantry. A self-made smoothie using beetroot, lemon, Greek yogurt, fresh spearmint leaves, and sweet pineapple. Everything was blended together using my trusty immersion blender.

The result? Creamy, tangy, and surprisingly dessert-like.

The ingredients before blend it all.

The peeled beetroot. That stained red my hands after the peeling process.
The raw beetroot.

Even my picky colleague, who usually turns away anything “too healthy,” gave it a thumbs up. “It tastes like ice cream!” they said and honestly, I’ll take that as a win.

Until next time, have fun experimenting in your own kitchen. Especially with beetroot — it’s full of surprises!

🌟 My Glow in the Dark Sticker Moment

Taken on the morning of 27 June 2025, I finally got around to sticking the glow in the dark sticker. Which I received yesterday onto my portable fan.

And you know what? It really glows in the dark! Just a small thing, but it instantly made me smile. That soft glow reminded me so much of my childhood. Those little joys that felt magical at night.

Now every time I reach for my fan in the dark, it gives me a warm nostalgic feeling. Sometimes, the simplest things bring the biggest joy.

Until then, have fun playing with glow in the dark stickers. Relive a little of your childhood magic. 💫

🚿 My Self-Made Urine Remover Spray as Toilet Saver on a No-Water Day

📅 Evening of 23 June 2025

After a long day, I finally got around to making a fresh batch of my DIY urine remover spray. And honestly, it couldn’t have come at a better time.

I managed to whip up a 500 ml batch using what I had at home, except for one key ingredient: I bought a 610 ml bottle of white vinegar just for this. The rest is rose essential oil, distilled water, a bit of liquid dishwasher detergent, and even baby wash shower cream in strawberry scent. Where all already sitting in my cupboard.

After mixing everything well, I poured it into a 1.5-liter storage bottle, plus two 30 ml sprayer bottles for on-the-go use.

Why the urgency? There was a pipe burst on the road next to P10, FKE, UTM, and by yesterday evening there was no water at all. So I already expected today’s public toilets to smell terrible, especially at the campus.

That’s exactly why I made this spray as soon as I got home. And yes I’ll be using it before stepping into any public restroom tomorrow. Quick spritz, cleaner smell, and peace of mind.

Earlier today, I brought along my trusty 30 ml sprayer bottle filled with homemade glass cleaner. Which I used earlier last week to clean up windscreen.

And guess what? It worked so well. By the time I got home in the evening, it was almost empty. I didn’t even realize how much I’d used throughout the day. A few spritzes here and there on toilet seats, water hose, door handles, floor and wall.

It’s crazy how this simple, bleach-free cleaner has become such a handy essential in my bag.

Until then, have fun crafting your own urine remover spray to get bleach-free, gently fragranced, and super handy for unexpected toilet disasters. 🌸🚽

Heart (jantung) on my pisang kerang (praying hands banana) tree

On the evening of 28 January 2025, I noticed the heart (jantung) on my pisang kerang (praying hands banana) tree.
The banana fruits will eventually look like the one shown below. Picture from Google search.
I planted the tree on November 2, 2023, which means it has been 1 year, 2 months, and 27 days, or 454 days. I haven’t given it much attention since planting.

Enjoy tracking the progress of your own pisang kerang tree!

Flower Buds on My Harum Manis Mango Tree – A New Beginning

18 June 2025, Morning Reflections

This morning brought a beautiful surprise, my Harum Manis mango tree is filled with flower buds once again. It’s a joy to witness, especially since the last time it bore fruits was back on 2 October 2024.

While my neighbors’ trees had already entered their second flowering phase, mine remained quiet. But now, after 8 months and 18 days of waiting, nature has answered with a fresh promise of fruit. The timing couldn’t be more perfect, and I’m truly grateful.

Watching these buds bloom gives me hope that the tree will carry these flowers through to fruiting. Fingers crossed for a bountiful harvest in the months to come.

The look of food that I consume during a very long and hectic day

This is taken on the morning of 21 February 2025.
I have self peeled and sliced milk mango (pelam susu) and chocolate muffin.
My lunch food.
Initially I wanted to make egg sandwich. However I am too hungry to make it. Which is why I decided to eat chicken Maggie first.
The look of eaten chicken Maggie before lunch meal. Since my lunch companion reply late. I just eat to avoid gastric.
I noticed that the steamed eggs left 4 from the initial 7. Means my lab mate eat 3 eggs with his Maggie. Fortunately I follow my gut feeling to steam 7 eggs instead of only 4.
The initial process of selecting 7 eggs.
My asam boi drink around 10 pm. Since I am feeling very parched.
My sunquick drink around 8 pm.
My tea break of rojak tauhu bakar.
For me it is crucial to take lots of fruits during day of heavy work load. It helps me to stay alert and fresh throughout the day.
Until then, take a good care of yourself when doing work until late night.
