My simple breakfast today: plain pancake with sambal hitam

I decided to make simple plain pancake to eat with my sambal hitam that I have finish making it yesterday.

Can see how Dell never want to leave my side. Even when I am about to have my breakfast. Such a clingy cat😅.

My gardening activity this evening

Since I have more energy today, I decided to re-plant few of plants given by my girlfriend last Thursday. She give me 1 unit lemongrass and 2 unit pandan plant.

As my land area already full, I decided to plant them in the collected 5 litre cooking oil bottles.

Just manage to take picture of neem plant.

Fortunately I bought RM 10 for 3 packs of fertilized soil from nursery earlier this week. During the process, I used all 3 packs of them. Seems like I need to buy more packs fertilized soil tomorrow after receive payment from selling my organic horn banana (pisang tanduk).

My first time attempt to make sambal hitam and horn banana chips

Since I am feeling better this morning than yesterday, I decided to proceed making sambal hitam out of organic belimbing buluh.

The first step to make sambal hitam.

Since I found 2 from balance 12 unit organic horn banana of mine already in good yellowing ripe colour, I have to process them to be chips by today in order to avoid over ripening with soft soggy condition.

Price of organic belimbing buluh RM 1.40 for 100 gm

Since belimbing buluh or Averrhoa bilimbi is in season, I decided to share with others by selling them off.

From article in 2015, the price ia RM 40 per kilogram that time.

Therefore, the price is RM 1.40 for 100 gm of it. Where I manage to send 2 packs of the plucked ones yesterday to those who order them. 

I am planning to cook spicy side dish or sambal hitam using belimbing buluh or  Averrhoa bilimbi today. Will update the outcome later.

My additional kitchen assist tools to process my organic harvest at home

My kitchen scissor went missing for the past 2 weeks already. Which annoys me since it is a very good scissor that also assist me in tidying up weeds in my lawn from time to time. Especially when the weeds to thin to be cut by my gardening cutter.

My kitchen scissor that able to be detached from 1 piece to 2 pieces when needed.

Maybe it could be a knife after being detached🙄.

Actually the main item that I look for is fruit slicer. As the one that I aim sold under Tupperware brand have no offer this month. Where the full or non offer price is 46.4% more than the offer last January 2018😂. Sad when missing such good deals. I decided to go to one retail shop near my district for a similar type of slicer. I am really fortunate to find one which is 50% cheaper that the one sold by Tupperware 😉.

The slicer set also have peeler with it😉.

I like the safety features on it. Since I am have trauma working with grater, slicer and their equals😅. As I am targeting to make an even slice of my organic horn banana (pisang tanduk) chips tomorrow evening. Which it would be helpful to prevent cuts and any wounds later.

Harga pisang tanduk organik saya RM 16 per kilogram

Di bawah saya sertakan sebab serta harga jualan pisang tanduk organik saya yang telah dituai pada 7 Mac 2018.

Setakat ini, tinggal 12 biji dalam stok.

Sebab saya letak harga RM 16 per kilogram berdasarkan artikel tahun 2011 seperti yang diterangkan di dalam gambar belah kiri di atas.

Sila maklumkan dibahagian komen jika berminat untuk buat pembelian buah pisang tanduk organik mentah (sudah tua tapi belum kuning) kerana stok terhad = tinggal 12 biji [1].

Pisang tanduk organik mentah yang telah ranum kuning dan digoreng sebagai sarapan pada hari tuaian [2].

Ini kerana saya bercadang untuk buat kerepek sekiranya tiada permintaan bagi buah pisang tanduk mentah. Di mana harga jualan kerepek pisang tanduk organik saya adalah RM 16 per setengah kilogram.
Saya sangat gembira dengan saiz serta tahap kesihatan pisang tanduk organik yang saya tanam tanpa menggunakan sebarang racun seranggan serta baja kimia. Malah bebas dari sebarang pengawet mahupun bahan kimia yang mencepatkan proses masak buah seperti kabait atau carbide yang memang sering disuntik ke dalam batang pisang yang telah dipotong di kedai [3,4].

Sekian, selamat maju jaya dalam usaha menanam pisang tanduk yang mahal di rumah dan tanah anda😉.

The look of my nilam pandan leaves that smell more fragrant than pandan leaves

My girlfriend treat me partial of the cost for 2 of plants yesterday. I manage to get neem plant and nilam pandan plant.

I bought the nilam pandan plant as the seller said that the leaves would give fragrant pandan smell when it is cut and put on car dashboard. Despite the leaves did not smell much went I crush one of it.

Fortunately I buy the nilam pandan plant. I do put few leaves on on my dashboard once arrive at home. 

And my car does smell amazingly fragrant when I use it to buy ingredients to make sambal hitam from belimbing buluh this morning.

I manage to cut off all the balance leaves on the plant when cut it of for replanting purpose and put in foot sock as my bed potpouri.

Now my room smells amazingly fragrant. Really worth the money spent.
English name for nilam pandan is patchouli. It is one of main ingredient in my favourite perfume, that is Jimmy Choo EDP. Will make entry on this later😉.

12.2 kg is the balance weight of my 14 unit organic horn banana (pisang tanduk)

Just manage to muster strength to weigh balance of 14 unit of my organic horn banana (pisang tanduk) yesterday morning.

It is only weigh 12.2 kg for 14 unit of my organic horn banana (pisang tanduk).

Which means average for 1 unit horn banana (pisang tanduk) fruit is around 871 gm😉. 

Despite it took me almost 2 years to harvest it, still worth the wait as the banana fruit very huge and the ripe one that I have cook weigh 992 gm per unit [1]. Still way better from my colleague whom I give some of the horn banana offspring and plant at the same week. Where his horn banana tree still at my height and fruitless😅. Well definitely the soil condition at my house way better than his.

The continuation of the Woman's day with my girlfriend today

We manage to arrive home after the plant nursery pit stop today [1].

My girlfriend were very excited and immediately re-potting and re-arranging her plants after Zohor prayer😉.

She give me some of mango that she harvest from her husband home town in Perak. I took the one in purple case.

Manage to harvest her organic belimbing buluh for my stock and share with few others close ones of mine😉.
