Some activities of the day

This is taken on the morning of 29 July 2024. 

Starting my day with a plate of nasi dagang with kari ikan tongkol.

The look of harvested pisang lemak manis after being dissected sisir/sikat by sisir/sikat.

The look of deep red roselle juice of 184.6 ml from 19 fruit petals.

The temperature is 45°C during noon time. 

Where I become escort to my boss who goes shopping for fertilizer. As he unable to stand my 1 kelapa pandan (coconut) tree have more fruits and yield compare to his 5 kelapa pandan (coconut) tree. Well he forget that my kelapa pandan (coconut) tree have me as their gardener and care taker on Master level.

Upon reache lab 4 pm, I immediately processed the bought 5 corn cobs for tea break consumption.

The used 6 liter inner pot able to accommodate 5 corn cobs per cooking session.

Use pressure cooker to steam it at 4.14 pm.

Finished cooking when go check 4.21 pm.

4.24 pm put in vecad pantry for the other 3 to eat.

4.26 pm I arrived prayer room to do my Zohor prayer.

Fully utilized time😬.

Packing my self made pink lip balm into 3 gm container

This is taken on the morning of 3 June 2024. I managed to pack my self made pink lip balm into 3 gm container. Which I have made earlier and no time yet to put them in small individual containers. For daily usage.

Applying pink lip balm after prayer. I just ignore my dark eye bags. Learning the hard way to embrace them. As that is the package comes with aging and late night stay up finishing work in earlier years.

My tea break of rolled oats with pisang lemak manis (banana) fruits

This is taken on the evening of 10 June 2024. Where I eat rolled oats with pisang lemak manis (banana) fruits.

It is just one of my way to curb my hunger that usually faster during certain days of the month. Which is fulfilling yet let me stay in shape. Need to be in shape. As my knee and sole unable to withstand extra weight gain. After getting older.

The look of some fruits in trees that I've grown

This is taken on the morning of 11 June 2024. Where I noticed fruit bud to my sugar cane jujube (epal bidara) tree. Also the slightly orange hint on cherry Barbados fruit. 

Hopefully both will be able to grow to full terms. And safe to be eaten by me instead of other animals around the house.

Creative way to cool off room during hot blazing day

This is taken on the morning of 11 June 2024. Where I managed to remember to take ice from freezer compartment of pantry next door. 

The setting for the cooling system. Consist of ice, container filled with water and a humidifier. Since yesterday my colleague able to feel the room a lot cooler when I turn on humidifier with water. Basically this is 1 upper level of upgrade. My colleague even venting out why he have not think of such before. Well, I simply reply I do not know since he is the one with PhD brain.

Details on the used humidifier. 

Humidifier easy instructions:
Yellow light = 3 hours operation.
Blue light = 6 hours operation.

The air conditioning unit in the lab no longer functioning since 1 week before Ramadhan 2024.

My garlic based hair serum

This is taken on the morning of 18 May 2024. Where I managed to make garlic based hair serum.

Waste of juiced garlic. Where the garlic has been peeled and washed.

First straining process.

The look of garlic hair serum after leave it more than 10 minutes. After adding required ingredients.

Second straining process. This is compulsory for me. In order to get finer output.

I am able to get 1 bottle of 37 ml and 36.4 ml garlic hair serum from this process.

I have to strain 2 times in order to get final product.

My well blended noni juice

This is taken on the morning of 10 June 2024. Where I have to blend 1 unit noni fruit with 1/4 lemon fruit. As my juicer somehow cannot turn on.

This taste more concentrated. Since all the seeds blended well using my hand blended instead of being juice up. Hopefully it will help my aging body in a long run. 

I do drink it on empty stomach after wake up.

Kaduk plant on the sidewalk area

This is taken on the noon of 5 May 2024. Where I was walking to get to my ride out from the area. When I noticed the look of kaduk plant planted on the sidewalk of the area.

The kaduk plant looks healthy. The best part is the area does not have weeds. Interesting way of landscaping. Which then the leaves can be used also for dish miang kham and other cooking style.

Until then, have fun in identifying type of plant planted while you are walking around. 

Red cotton bugs on old roselle flower

This is taken on the evening of 2 May 2024. Where I notice that there is red coloured bugs on old roselle flower.

Upon further inspection with entomology counterpart, it is red cotton bugs or  red cotton stainer (Dysdercus cingulatus) [1]. 

Where among its host plant is hibiscus plant [1].

This is why I am always busy. Learning on the pest on the planted plants. Would be good if can have entomology friend for faster clarification. Everything needs to be documented. In order to know and get the next course of action.

My NRC Cosmetics make up bag

The look of NRC Cosmetics make up bag used on 9 June 2024. 

Bought it last November 2021. And it still works well. This is the transparent make-up bag from set of 3 pieces. Worth money spend on it. As I have use cheaper ones. And those tear faster after being worn.
