My review on L.A. Girl HD Foundation code Nude Beige

Today I am using L.A. Girl HD Foundation in code Nude Beige. Regardless it is 1 tone darker than my skin colour, it still 1 tone lighter than colour of skin at the back of my hand . Which is good since my face won't look too far away colour tone than the dark colour of skin at the back of my hand . If based on my face, neck  and arm tone colour, I might need to take code Fair or Porcelain colour of the HD foundation [1,2].

• Apply all over face using a brush or sponge.

My verdict:

Pros:

1. It does give good coverage to my skin. 1 pump sufficient enough to cover my whole face using Zoeva 104 Buffer brush [5]. I do think brush selection here is crucial since this one does give good make up distribution which deliver flawless application. I choose to use brush instead of beauty blender/sponge since it is much time efficient plus more hygiene convenient for me who is racing with time each time applying make up. Which I could just wipe off the access via tissue and kept the brush in clean case after usage and eliminate the need to clean up after usage using water for beauty blender/sponge. What like is this brush didn't take/absorb too much foundation since the texture is quite runny/watery which definitely be absorbed more in  beauty blender/sponge usage

Cons:

1. No where stated this foundation have SPF protection. Therefore, I use one thin layer of my CC cream that have SPF as precaution before applying the foundation
2. Need to use loose powder to set it since I found it quite wet after application
3. Have plastic scent. However it vanish gradually during application process

Conclusion:

• Good coverage. I don't need concealer at all. I like it since less is more to my precious time

My review on Dior Addict EDP version 2012

I happen to be able to own Dior Addict EDP version 2012 in a capacity of 100 ml.

Notes in Dior Addict EDP version 2012 [1]:

Top:       Silkwood Blossom, Mandarin Orange, Orange Blossom

Middle: Night Blooming Cereus, Bulgarian Rose

Base:     Vanilla, Sandalwood, Tonka Bean

The 2012 bottle has a gold ring and a gold cap:

Have to twist the top knob from 0 to 1 to enable the perfume to be sprayed

For me, it smell more like elegant smokey vanilla scent. Which is not overpowering yet I can't get enough of it.

The sillage is moderate. However this perfume really win in longevity department. Yesterday I use only 1 spray before going out around 11 am as I prefer soft sillage and reapply if required. I am able to smell the soft scent of the perfume when about to take bath after get home. That time almost 15 hours after I spray it. Then the next day when I am going to take bath around 9 am, I am still able to trace the soft scent of the perfume. A very powerful and definitely worth to buy.

My alternative way to make my room smell nice for sleep time

Last time during my degree, I used oil burner to make my room smell nice. However after start working, I found oil burner to be tedious and not safe. As I have to monitor the water level as it will dissipate faster after it gets hotter. Which the oil burner will crack if the water dried out when leaves unattended. Could also leads to fire hazard if unattended. Regardless the room will be fragrant faster  using oil burner compare using humidifier. And I need to use a specific type of candle to use with this oil burner.

Therefore, my alternative is to use humidifier. Well for my humidifier, this one is better as its design is spill proof.

My pegaga Gajah plant at home

Below is the picture of pegaga Gajah [1] that I plant at home. Can see the huge growth increment based on the leaf size. This type of pegaga rarely being sell in the market. I myself manage to get from one of my girlfriend who plant it in her long pot at her home in Nusa Idaman. Lucky me😍

I just leave the pegaga plant roam all over my inner land area. Since this type is the biggest of all, therefore it is not able to dominant the land area. Because I also have various type of creeping plants in the inner land area such as pumpkin and sweet potatoes.

My review on Zoeva pink elements classic set

I bought the set last 13 March 2015 in luxola.com before in re-brand to Sephora. I bought it since it is the cheapest and have all the basic brushes that I need which is RM 293 at that time.

It has 8 pieces of brushes that is:

Current price for this brush set RM 379. Increment near 30% for the past 2 years time on the price.

I use Real Technique blusher brush for powder and Jessup concealer brush to complete the Zoeva pink elements classic set

It has been long since I use this brush set since I left it for Pahang back up last time while I was still studying in UMP. Well, I still haven't finish unpack and re-pack all my stuff. 

Regardless, this brush set still in a good condition. Only the ferrule has been peeling due to aging process, I think😂

My review on Micellar Water from Maybelline

I bought it last 20 September 2017 after I happen to saw it in Lisa Eldridge blog. Where she was using Bioderma. It was among her favourite skincare products [1].

Well that time while I was in Watson in Jusco Taman Universiti, they only have Micellar Water from Silkygirl and Maybeline. At that time the quantity of Micellar Water from Maybelline is 400 ml and Silkygirl is a pack of 2 where each consist quantity of 150 ml.

Micellar Water from Maybelline price is around RM 33 after offer while Silkygirl is RM 27 after offer

Due to pricing and quantity wise, I choose Micellar Water from Maybelline [2].

From Maybelline website, it is stated that Micellar water from Maybelline is a 4 in 1 cleanser where it able to removes makeup, cleanses, tones, and moisturizes skin without the stinging feel. All in just one step! [2].

WHAT IT IS MICELLAR WATER [2]:

HOW TO USE / APPLY [2]:

STEP 4: Wait five seconds then wipe with tissue.

Pros:

- it is easy to use. Just put few drops on cotton ball or tissue and wipe your make up

- doesn't dry my skin due to it's toning function.

- nice to be used to wipe make up for correction compare to using oil based make up remover. Since it enable me to resume make up especially when in a rush.

- need to decant into smaller bottle for daily usage.

- mild to my eyes. Doesn't sting at all.

Cons:

- need more than 2 wipes for the make up to be removed completely.

My verdict:

It really worth to buy regardless there are plenty water based make up remover. Very convenient for those who are like to put make up after every prayer like me. Since I prefer using this Micellar Water compare to make up wipes due to longer lifespan and more hygiene.

3rd update in Oct 17 - my mulberry, Dell,horn banana and papaya

This is the pictures take this morning. Seems like I have to do pruning my mulberry tomorrow during off day if want to get next batch of fruit supplies. 

Fresh vitamin C at home. The size getting longer than previous [1]

Well while I was cleaning the cage and plucking the mulberries, Dell do accompany me during the time regardless his food being served.
Below is the pictures of he asking for pet as barter trade after accompanying me to errands at home😍 Such a clingy male cat. Very rare😝

Circle pink = where he park his feet which on my knees on top left picture. And his front hand holding my hand for more pet in below left picture.

Finally he eat his food after a long pet time.

Update on my horn banana (pisang tanduk):
Earlier this week I count have around 11 small ones poking out from the main tree. This morning, I count it already increase to almost 17 small ones.

The most left red circle looks like a small baby banana that grow from the main tree bark

Parts that in red circle is the confirmed small baby banana tree.
Parts in yellow circle is the one that looks like baby banana but not yet showing cause still very small. And something like white colour roots of the banana tree.

Update on my papaya:

The first batch. Red circle is the ripening orange colour

Second batch. Can see in yellow circle the top ones is bearing more fruits that below in red circle

Texture on Egyptian Magic cream and review after nearly 3 days using it

My review after almost 3 days using this cream.

I starting to use the cream [1] in the night of 2 October 2017 as my moisturizer cum make up base after Maghrib prayer. Then I use it as replacement of my night cream before went to sleep.
Then, I use the cream in the morning of 3 October 2017 same as 2 October 2017 step. That is using it as my moisturizer cum make up base. Same goes after each prayer. Then at night also as replacement of my night cream before went to sleep.
This morning I am able to see that my pores becoming less obvious. Even my skin become more hydrated. No more flaky scaly skin during BB cream application. Such a relief after almost 3 months of dry skin conditions.
Although there are few small red spots on area near my right nose, I could ignore since it is not itchy and obvious.
Well it is definitely not an easy task (which equals to Herculean task for me) to maintain good skin condition when you are in 30s. Lots of efforts is needed to get clear porcelain skin tone and conditions.

Texture of the cream can be seen via pictures below.

Hope you are able to see how fast the cream melted into my skin in the bottom left picture. I use spatula to scoop the cream in order to prolong it shelf lifespan and promote hygiene care.

Seems like I need to re-pack the cream into small case in order to reduce weight of my existing heavy make up bag and to be able to fit into smaller make up bag [2].

Well the lipliner colour look too washed out in pictures above. Where it really have a lovely colour in actual/in the mirror😅

Just be a personal shopper for this compact yest spacious make up bag. It have lots of brush slot/compartment. Suitable for those who like to use minimum 5 brushes per application.

Dimension of the box is 27 cm x 16 cm x 4 cm

Unbox review:
- The material is waterproof.

- Have handle to make it easy to carry this bag separately.
- Ample brush slot which able to cater up to 15 to 20 brushes.

However, it just not enough size for my travel mirror [1]. Which it a must for me nowadays to bring  it for use daily in order to get a neat and spot-on make up application.

Second update of asparagus and harum manis Oct 17

This is pictures taken this morning during drizzling rain. I manage to take it before going to work this morning of my asparagus and harum manis mango tree.

The one circled in yellow is the new leaves of harum manis mango tree for the top one. And bottom right is the new shoots of asparagus tree

This is the asparagus that I plant in rectangular size pot around 1 feet long x 4 inch wide.

Seems like my guts to add more palm oil soil does promote better growth rate for both my asparagus and harum manis mango tree.

My friend who give me the harum manis mangoes last time also already ask me to remember to invite him once it bearing fruits😆
