Breakfast with ubi kayu rebus (boiled tapioca/cassava)

My breakfast this morning: ubi kayu rebus (boiled tapioca/cassava). Harvested ubi kayu (tapioca/cassava) yesterday. Did not take picture of the harvested ubi kayu (tapioca/cassava) since finished quite late. I only take around 400 gm of it. Where I give the rest of the  harvest to my neighbour.

It taste delicious. I add 2 chopped garlic and ginger with 30 ml water. Use function rice maximum for 18 minutes in my 2.5 liter pressure cooker. It cooked nicely. Love the outcome despite using very little water. And the water seeps into the boiled ubi kayu (tapioca/cassava). So no waste at all. Love this way of cooking. I can taste the ginger strongly since I am using the one I harvested. Despite use around 3 cm x 2 cm size. Well, at least I am saved from bloated stomach after adding ginger in the cooking.

My new torch lighter

This is taken last 3 September 2021. Where I finally get hold of this precious torch lighter after searching for it in 3 shops. Sadly, this type of lighter is not easily found or sold in mini market, 7 Eleven, shopping mall. Only certain shop selling it. And its become harder to get stock since this September 2021.

I like this kind of ligher since it is easily used to light up dried leaves compare to normal lighter [1]. Can just press to light up. Refer to image below.

Comparison between my cili padi (small chili) and cili ungu (purple chili) leaves

This is taken last 29 August 2021. Where I make compilation of comparison pictures between my cili padi (small chili) and cili ungu (purple chili) leaves.

For me, the look of the leaves is very distinct. Not sure if the taken pictures able to justify much. What matter is the leaves of cili ungu (purple chili) looks different from cili padi (small chili) leaves. Where might be mistaken as weeds. Fortunately I trust my gut feeling to leave the small cili ungu (purple chili) plant. Which is why it is important to mark your germination container. This step will help prevent miss identification of the grown cili ungu (purple chili) plant.
