The look and process of my nasi lemak and sambal anchovies

I have put the finished look of the nasi lemak with marinated chicken and sambal anchovies earlier [1].

Process cooking nasi lemak with 1/8 of Black Glutinous rice in steam mode using my lunch box [2].

Mixing plain rice with the 1/8 soaked Black Glutinous rice.

The process of my sambal anchovies.

Adding blended onions and garlic in the hot oil.

Stir fry the blended onions and garlic.

Adding chili paste (cili giling) in the mix.

Adding the fried crispy anchovies in the mix.

The final look of my sambal anchovies.

Even though my lab mate didn't like too many anchovies in the sambal, still he eat it despite picking out all the anchovies. He did add until 3 times of the over soft nasi lemak with Black Glutinous rice.

My oversoft nasi lemak and sambal anchovies

I decided to take one day off from my replacement fasting day. I cooked nasi lemak with 1/8 of Black Glutinous rice and make sambal anchovies with marinated chicken.

Since this is my first attempt cooking such nasi lemak with Black Glutinous rice in steam mode. It turns out that the rice become too soft due to too much water. I forget to reduce the water quantity for steam mode rice cooking using my lunch box [1]. Still it taste good.
Think this kind of rice texture suitable for older people with teeth problem. Also for those who have less appetite after recovering from sickness and etc.

My current laundry detergent: Dynamo with Downy 2.1 kg

Last time I am using laundry detergent brand Top [1]. Using red and blue packaging in 2.5 kg per pack [1,2].

I also never buy laundry detergent ever since I enter my own house in 2015. Since I usually able to buy the Top laundry detergent when they have sale buy one free one.

But sadly last month, I have to start buy laundry detergent as the stock at home running low.

This time, I choose to buy Dynamo with Downy. Yes, it cost me RM 5 extra from the other Dynamo  powder range. But being frugal and I hardly have time to use fabric softener in the end of my washing cycle. I decided to opt for this. And I am glad that I am correct in this choice making decision.

I choose Dynamo powder as I do prefer powder over liquid detergent. Especially when I pack it for travel. As I am able to avoid any spills by bringing powder.

Verdict:

It does leaves the room smells fragrant after I open the package.

It also let my washed clothes clean and smells nice in Downy scent. Worth the extra RM 5 that I paid.

I do hope to be able to restock it before mine finished. Well normally for my own usage, 2.1 kg could last me at least 6 to 8 months.

Replanting my Italian parsley, mint direct on soil

I replanting my Italian parsley and mint directly on soil today. Since there is 9 unit of Italian parsley, I plant half direct on soil and half in long square pot.

Hopefully the ones that I plant directly on soil would be bigger than the ones planted in pots. Since for asparagus, seems like the one in pots grow bigger and healthier than the one I plant direct in soil.

Well, I still have lots to learn on gardening knowledge, the tips and tricks also.

After a tired gardening activity, I spend time resting with my precious cats named Dell and Furball [1].

I like this song a lot during my secondary school. It have the eerie lovely rock touch in the melody. Plus, I do love her lovely strong voice that does complement the song.

My iftar dish: Black Glutinous rice dessert (bubur pulut hitam)

I have been craving to make Black Glutinous rice dessert since last Friday. I did buy the Black Glutinous rice that day. Manage to make it today for my iftar dish.

I cook using my 1.5 liter travel cooker under mode congee or porridge [1].

I use 116 gm to cook today.

Soaking process.

Adding 1/4 teaspoon salt.

Using brown sugar as substitute to palm sugar (or gula melaka).

The look when the cooker in 1.0 congee mode. Approximately after 1 hour.

I am using coconut milk in box.

Pouring the coconut milk into the boiled Black Glutinous rice.

The look after mixing well the coconut milk with the Black Glutinous rice.

The look after 30 minutes.

Taking out some for my iftar break.

The delicious look of my home made Black Glutinous rice dessert today. 

I add more brown sugar afterwards since I feel it is quite bland. Still, it taste delicious. Would been better if I am able to put some pandan leaves in it for more fragrant taste.

Cleaning cats feces in front of my main house entrance

I have no issue in cleaning stray cats feces in front of my main house entrance and my yard. Especially when I am in a good condition. This is how I clean them up: using water spray yesterday. Since last time I was being accused for exaggerating the matter. So that people can see the neat way to clean up such feces and poop neatly.

I make sure to spray the water towards drain area.

As you can see, the sprayed water end before my house boundaries with next door.

You can see clearly that there is no feces or poop debris at all after I clean it up. Unlike the one that happen last time. Where dog feces or poop scattered all over in front of main entrance of my house [1,2]. Despite I have asked them nicely to move the dog to the middle part of the house porch. As there is a small drain there and would be much easier and neat for them to clean up the dog feces or poop directly into the drain. Without leaving any traces till outside the house area. If they are a careful person like me. As shown in my video clearly how I do it.

Till then, just be careful with how your next door clean up their pet feces or poop.

I think I bought it around year 2015. From facebook seller. I think around RM 160-170 for this set that time. I receive it within a week after payment. As it is ready stock.

This set comes with 11 well designed make up brush. Suitable for beginner like me that time. It also comes with a waterproof bag. This set also convenient for travel usage.

Verdict:

I like using all the brushes except Angled Foundation Brush. As I do find that my foundation application better off using Zoeva 104 Buffer brush [1].
Would be nice if it also comes with Eyebrow Duo Brush like in the Elf Silver 11 pieces brush-collection set [2].
