My oversoft nasi lemak and sambal anchovies

I decided to take one day off from my replacement fasting day. I cooked nasi lemak with 1/8 of Black Glutinous rice and make sambal anchovies with marinated chicken.




Since this is my first attempt cooking such nasi lemak with Black Glutinous rice in steam mode. It turns out that the rice become too soft due to too much water. I forget to reduce the water quantity for steam mode rice cooking using my lunch box [1]. Still it taste good.
Think this kind of rice texture suitable for older people with teeth problem. Also for those who have less appetite after recovering from sickness and etc.
