My sweat proof make up for today

My make up surprisingly sweat proof today. It happen that I help out my lab mate to clean up upper floor shop unit. Where no fan at the hall area. And my sweat were dripping from my face while sweeping clean the carpeted floor.

Below is the look that being taken early of the day before I went out, after the sweating session and after I remove my make up.

Fortunately my bare face still looks alive than a ghostly look😂But didn't look that cheerful

I think people able to see from primary camera that my make up is very light. Can see clearly all the huge pores, pimples and other imperfections. Well, I prefer light make up or natural look for my daily look. Especially due to my time constraint. Enough to make my face to look cheerful and alive, than overwhelming which not suitable with my work nature as an outdoor engineer. As I have to tend after my cats and plants before I leave home for work in daily basis. Well, they are my responsibility as I am their owner and care taker.

Sequence of my make up for today:

1. Toner after wash my face

2. Face serum

3. Moisturizer: Egyptian Magic cream [1]

4. Foundation: Kryolan Tv Stick in 3W

5. Setting the foundation using NARS loose powder code 04

6. Do eyebrow using Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in dark brown

7. Eyeliner: Maybelline  Eye Studio 36hours Gel Liner in brown

8. Blusher: Blusher Sivanna colours Mat Fleur Cheeks code 03 [2]

9. Lips: True MatteMoist in Coralie

Lastly, I spray rose water to soften my make up.

I only use baby wet wipes to clean up my face before prayer. Which surprisingly all of them come out really well.

Backing up data from my phone wireless way

I have less time to do data transfer or backing up data in my phone via usb transfer. Since I am on the move and most of the time the usb transfer will easily hang on me. God know why only. That is why I finally try wireless data transfer using local area network (LAN). It is easier. Regardless it took longer time when there is more than 2 GB data being transferred. However, it enables me to use my phone as long as the phone is connected to LAN.

My review of Make Up Brush Cleaner by Daiso

I did find that this Make Up Brush Cleaner very handy. Especially for busy people like me😅

Last Tuesday, I manage to clean 10 brushes within 30 minutes up till hang it to the drying rack in the morning before go to work. Since this cleaner very easy to use. Step that I do to clean brush using this cleaner:
1) I just need to dip my brush in the cleaner that being placed in a bowl. I use less than 3 ml and add more when needed.
2) Swirl the brush.
3) Then I use silicon mat to scrub of the remaining residue from the brush if any.
4) After that, I just rinse the brush with running water from the tap.

Can skip step 3 for light stain such as eyeshadow brush😊
It is just as simple 4 cleaning step.

The Make Up Brush Cleaner from Daiso

This product contains water, ethyl alcohol, surfactant 7%, sodium laureth sulfate, polysorbate 80, akyl polyglycoside, peg-7 glyceryl, cocoate, preservative.
The quantity is 150 ml per bottle. So far, I have use it 3 times only. I even use it to help wash my girlfriend brushes last 2 weeks [2].

My make up for today. Truly feel I have completed my eyebrows technique

I am using my MAC travel slanted brush number 263SE.

The result of make up this morning. Taken before going to work. This look took me almost 20 minutes. That is within the range of allocated make up time 30 minutes for daily look

I just focus on my eyebrows for this look after put on my foundation. I use eyebrow powder for this look. Then I put on simple eyeliner. Finish off with blusher and matte lipgloss for lips. That really meet the allocated 30 minutes make up time for daily look. No more playing with eye shadows for me since it would consume time for almost 1 hour due to blending procedure.

Overall, I am very satisfied with the outcome of my make up today. As the eyebrows is on point regardless taken via primary phone camera.
Well, practise makes perfect.

My make up during company dinner in 2011

Just manage to get few of old pictures that taken during Siemens dinner last 15 April 2011. Think that time it was held in Sunway Pyramid hotal hall that year.

I prefer my look in this picture

Above is the picture of me with 2 gorgeous ex-colleague who still works in Siemens in the same department. Kudos to them for being with Siemens for more than 5 years.

I put my own make up that time since I prefer do it myself to save time and cost. Well that time my knowledge in make up still not much and less tools unlike nowadays.

I did put fake eyelashes that time. For me personally, when I look again this make up of mine I do think it is not bad based on my capability that time.

I do think I manage to get lucky draw of RM 200 worth of Metrojaya coupon. Which later I used to redeem perfume Jeans Paul Gautier that I have aimed since 2008. But unfortunately I am unable to trace the bottle after I move in to my current house😢

Blockage in alley between houses in my housing area in Taman Pulai Hijauan

Below is the list of obstruction in the alley between houses in my housing area.

1) vehicle parked in alley in between houses in Jalan Penaga 3

Iswara with plate number JFB 7815

2) construction leftover put in alley in between houses since September 2017 in Jalan Penaga 2

This kind of obstruction really makes me angry especially when I need to use the alley for alternative route when the neighbor use main road for their events.

Try to imagine if there is fire and the road is unavailable for use? Would end horribly for the victim and would be many losses.

That is why it is very important to make sure these kind of facility always available for usage.

In terms of security regardless this neighborhood is gated guarded community, really worries me when I saw few of the neighbor along my road in Jalan Penaga 2 always leave their gate wide open regardless they only leave their house for a while. As people can come into their house compound and take whatever there. Which would be lots of hassle after that. Especially if these kind of people did not pay for the maintenance fees.

Below is my report last 12 March 2017 to MBJBT:

The sad part is the lorry with plate number JGV 8973 still being seen parked at the same place.

The Iswara with plate number JFB 7815 sometimes also parked in the same place.

Last time, even a trailer head with plate number BJV 5716 were parked in front of a house near to mine.

Pictures of the trailer head is taken last 4 February 2017.
I never saw how this trailer head able to squeeze through the guard gate in my area. Try to imagine if it is driven carelessly while kids roaming around near the road in the housing area. The driver won't feel a thing if run over them.
I also think there is rules where lorries, trailer, bus is not given the permission to park in housing area.

I do think we as part of the community need to do our part in keeping the neighborhood safe.
The resident associations also need to help find ways for enforcement in order to curb these kind of situations from keep on reoccuring with never ending solutions.

Till then, plase help to do your part by avoiding from obstructing the alley and close your gate everyday and every time😍

Managing visit to Western Digital for internship students last 10 July 2014

I was given task to manage an industrial visit to Western Digital during FKE, UTM student internship in 2014. It was just a visit to open students mind how industry works.

The visiting is done last 10 July 2014. We gather in Western Digital Pasir Gudang by 9 am. Where we are received by the management of the Western Digital. Which we discuss more on what kind of collaboration that FKE, UTM could offer to Western Digital.

Below is the pictures taken before we headed home:

 

If you zoom the image below, you can see that Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programming is one of the listed required skills to work in Western Digital in Pasir Gudang [1]. Well I am able to see plenty of Siemens PLC used in their machine.

My review on Zoeva 104 Buffer brush

I manage to get my hands on this superb brush when I purchase the Zoeva pink classic elements set [1].

My verdict:
Pros:

1. Better make up distribution compare using my travel MAC Stippling brush. I do think brush selection here is crucial since this one does give good make up distribution which deliver flawless application when applying foundation/cc cream/bb cream/stick type foundation (no more streaky marks). I choose to use brush instead of beauty blender/sponge since it is much time efficient for me who is racing with time each time applying make up (no much time to spare to clean beauty blender after each make up application before racing to go work). Plus, this brush didn't take/absorb too much foundation compare to beauty blender/sponge
2. Longer life span compare to beauty blender
3. Suitable for daily usage. As can just wipe off via tissue the residue after daily application before deep cleaning in weekend

Cons:

1. The price per brush is quite on the high side

Conclusion:

1. Good for beginner or those who love to use brush over beauty blender/sponges
2. Worth to buy despite the price is quite on the high side

Barter trade keropok lekor with mulberry tree and make up brush cleaning service

Today my girlfriend invited me to come to her house to spend girls time. Since she is going to treat me with keropok lekor Terengganu, I decided to pack a mulberry tree and my make up cleaning tools as barter trade.

The make up brush cleaning service. I even use my own drying brush holder for easy and faster plus safer drying process

I do know and understand as a mother of 4 girls, would be hard to spend time taking care of her own make up brushes. That is why I am taking such initiative by doing so. Which I even bring my drying brush holder to help assist the drying process. 

Do make sure the brush bristle heading down to avoid water seeping into the brush ferrule and weakening the glue that holds the bristle together.
Clean make up brush promotes better skin conditions😉

My review on L.A. Girl HD Foundation code Nude Beige

Today I am using L.A. Girl HD Foundation in code Nude Beige. Regardless it is 1 tone darker than my skin colour, it still 1 tone lighter than colour of skin at the back of my hand . Which is good since my face won't look too far away colour tone than the dark colour of skin at the back of my hand . If based on my face, neck  and arm tone colour, I might need to take code Fair or Porcelain colour of the HD foundation [1,2].

My verdict:

Pros:

1. It does give good coverage to my skin. 1 pump sufficient enough to cover my whole face using Zoeva 104 Buffer brush [5]. I do think brush selection here is crucial since this one does give good make up distribution which deliver flawless application. I choose to use brush instead of beauty blender/sponge since it is much time efficient plus more hygiene convenient for me who is racing with time each time applying make up. Which I could just wipe off the access via tissue and kept the brush in clean case after usage and eliminate the need to clean up after usage using water for beauty blender/sponge. What like is this brush didn't take/absorb too much foundation since the texture is quite runny/watery which definitely be absorbed more in  beauty blender/sponge usage

Cons:

1. No where stated this foundation have SPF protection. Therefore, I use one thin layer of my CC cream that have SPF as precaution before applying the foundation
2. Need to use loose powder to set it since I found it quite wet after application
3. Have plastic scent. However it vanish gradually during application process

Conclusion:

• Good coverage. I don't need concealer at all. I like it since less is more to my precious time
