Below is the list of update on various plants and trees I grow all around my house area.

Harvesting my papaya's today

Manage to share todays harvest with to 2 others neighbours.

Can see the growth of my pandan coconut, harum manis mango [1] and hybrid lime (given by my friend).

All were clearly seen after harvesting process of the sweet potatoes.

The harum manis mango were planted around July 2016 after get it from a friend of mine. The tree is almost 1 years old now. I plant it from seeds [1].

My honeydew flowers at home

Below is the pictures of honeydew flower at my home today. I notice it yesterday evening when I was about to wash my hands at the pipe there.

I buy the honeydew last 13 June 2017. I think I just straight away throw few of the seeds in the polystrene case.

Basically the honeydew tree grew flowers after almost 90 days being planted. And it might start blooming flowers due to enough water during rain every evening here at home for the past 1 month.

I was quite surprised to see how small the flowers of honeydew compare to pumpkin flowers that I grow lastime. It was almost 15 times smaller than pumpkin flowers. 

The most interesting part is honeydew bear at as much as 3 flowers at each leaves of each honeydew trees. 3 times more flowers than pumpkin. 

Hopefully I would be able to get more honeydew fruits compare to pumpkin last time.

It is nice to see flowers that origins from honeydew seeds that being thrown at soil. It was just a fun attempt. Which now hopefully able to produce a sweet honeydew fruits.

Digging sweet potatoes at home today

This is the pictures for today activities. I invited my lab mates to help dig sweet potatoes that I have plant earlier around February 2017 at land area outside my house gate.

Verdict: the roasted sweet potates is much sweeter than the boiled ones.

The circled area in yellow is my guardian cat, Dell with his shadow😅

The lab mates that came to help out were fascinated digging the sweet potatoes. It was like digging for treasure. Cause while they dig at one place, it happens that have another sweet potatoes near their feet😄

In the end, we manage to get total 3 kg of the sweet potates. However, still a lot left in the soil. We already exhausted as it is not easy to dig out the sweet potatoes.
Since I really apply technique: plant, water and left it unattended😅.
Means, I never loosen the soil area or even tend after the weeds.

We also manage to dig the land area near drain to plant 1 coconut tree (mataq type) and 1 soursop tree after breakfast.

Photo quality difference between taken via selfie and digital camera

Using selfie taken by my front phone camera, my looks more white and unable to get actual colour of my very thin make up. Especially my thinly applied soft pink blusher. The difference as shown in pictures below ↘

The top part of this pictures in take using front camera of my phone Samsung J7 prime. Where the front resolution is 8 megapixels (MP) [1].

The bottom part is taken using my digital camera Canon Ixus 105. Where the resolution is 12 megapixels (MP) [2].

For me personally, I do prefer the pictures taken by my digital camera. The picture is more natural and pleasing to my eyes. Can see my thin soft pink blusher. Able to see my red spots on my chin 😂 This digital camera has been spending quite a long time with me. I think since year 2010. Basically, my digital camera almost reach seven (7) years spending time with me.

My review on travel brush set

Use Huda beauty gel black liner and smudge using pencil brush with eyebrow powder dark chocolate in my eyebrow pallet from Cosway. As the Huda beauty gel black liner easily smeared. That is why I smudge it.

Can see I focus more on the eye part

Part and product used:

1) Lips: Huda beauty Charming Lips (gloss) in colour 02

2) Face: CC cream from Elianto, concealer from Nars code Cafe using the foundation brush from travel set [1]

Summary:
I am satisfied with the travel brush set quality. It really helps improve my make up application to get better looks. Plus, easy to bring on daily basis.

My new tools to dry my make up brushes after deep cleaning

Last time I just arrange all my brushes in one basket with hole and put it under ceiling fan in the room. All in one basket after weekly or monthly deep cleaning process.

My drying rack

I do found that using this drying tools help to promote faster drying process. Especially when this drying rack were put under ceiling fan. From normally 3-4 days become 1-2 days. 

As all the brushes here hanged upside down individually with 1-2 cm spaces in between. Where good ventilation helps faster drying time due to good spacing length. Seems like I would be able to deep clean wash my brushes 2-3 times a week with minimum 2 sets of make up brushes. Provided I am discipline enough to force myself to be that thorough on my brushes hygiene😅

Till then, have a good time deep cleaning your make up brush weekly or daily.

Gruesome close up dirt on make up brushes after usage

Can see how much dirt/debris on the brushes after usage [1].

Seeing the pictures in [1] makes me feel scared on how gruesome it is.

Dirty make up brush could also be a cause to almost-death-like situation for this girl in case [2].

She violate 2 rules:

1. do not wash make up brush and 
2. popped pimple. 

"It happens to be a very serious case of Cellulitis, which is a version of a Staph infection. It also affects the deep cellular tissues with no main source to attack." That is why in this article, the girl now always emphasize on cleaning make up brushes at least once per month [2].

This girl does clean her brushes such as foundation,blush and etc. She just forget to disinfect her spoolie. That is why now she urges ot to disinfect everything [2].

Other case, 27 years old make up user paralyse completely after staph infection attacked her spine in year 2015. It is believed that the infection was passed along after using her friend make up brush. Where the microbes might entered her system through pimple on her face. She is hoping to be able to walk again. Could read the details in link below [3].

For this case, this model infected by staph infection on eye after a fashion show. Fortunately her infection is minor. Details in this link [4].

Conclusion/moral of the story:

1. hygiene is very crucial for good skin condition and healthy life. More reason to wash/deep clean your make up tools and bags weekly. The way I deep clean my brushes as link in reference [5].
2. make sure to only use your own make up
3. sharing here could only lead to paralyse/death instead of caring. The best is to be selfish on this part.
4. stop using make up once have breakout to avoid infection.

Till then, be safe in applying make up in daily basis.

My current make up routine

Nowdays I only put on BB Cream with SPF, do my eyebrows, eyeliners, put blushers and  lipstick on top of my lipstain.

Not much time to spare for more.
All the above already took me 15 to 30 minutes. I also need 30 minutes more to dry my hairs, put on clothes and finally out from house daily.
I need to be on time and practical on my attire plus opt for simple make up instead of full fledge ones. As my work only give me bonus for being presentable.
Owning a magnifying mirror [1] does helps a lot in improving my make up to be neat and spot on😘

That is why I make sure to be presentable each time I am out working and out for meeting. I even make sure to put on at least lipstain/lipbalm and compact powder when I need to go out when I am not too well.
I am also grateful to have the opportunity to stay at my own home during this Aidil Adha compared to few of my girlfriends whom at site at this time.

My mulberry tree finally bearing ripe fruits

I get the cutted stem on November 2016.

Move the cutting to land area on 3 December 2016.

Last 30 January 2017 it started to produce fruit buds. But unfortunately it fails to grow to be fruits.

I tend to forget to tend for it since it is outside of my house compound.

This evening I manage to muster strength to tend after the papaya, mulberry and lime tree that I plant near drainage area in front of my house.

I was surprised to see the long forgotten mulberry tree have many fruit buds. Even have ripe red ones. It was more like plant and leave. That is why I am so excited seeing the red mulberries😅

It took me almost 9 months for my mulberry to bear fruits. Although certain people manage to gain fruit faster than me, I feel blessed to have such a robust mulberry tree. 

Nice to see my crops bearing fruits after a long time. To plant tree, need to have  lots of patience. As sometimes the duration is longer to get good organic outcome.

Basically now, I have extra fresh fruit at home than papaya.

Importancy of vanity mirror with magnifying function

Been a daily make up user, I am customised to used normal mirror. Then in 2014, I start using travel vanity mirror with 3x magnifying function. Then I started to realise how the magnifying function helps to improve my make up application.

Currently, I am using travel vanity mirror with 7x magnifying. At last, I am able to understand why Lisa Eldridge use at least 10x magnifying function for her travel mirror. No wonder her make up spot on. It is really impressive how the mirror reflect all the imperfection in my whole face.
