The look of new asparagus shoots this morning.

This is the look of my new asparagus shoots after I replant them last 22 July 2018 [1]. Almost 9 days after they being replant.
There are 3 of new asparagus shoots here. I have marked in circle and yellow arrow.

For this one, have one thick fat new asparagus shoot.

3 new asparagus shoots here also.

Only one asparagus shoot here.
I feel really glad seeing plenty new asparagus shoots coming out from my asparagus plants. Total 4 from 9 of them already growing new shoot = 44.4% success growth rate.

I even manage to make herbal drinks from my betel leaves (daun sirih), citronella and spearmint [2].
The finished look of my herbal drinks.
The look of the ingredients used.

The betel (Piper betle) is a vine belonging to the Piperaceae family, which includes pepper and kava. Betel leaf (daun sirih) is mostly consumed in Asia, and elsewhere in the world by some Asian emigrants, as betel quid or in paan, with Areca nut and/or tobacco [2].

Difference between characteristics of betel (daun sirih) and piper sarmentosum (kaduk) leaf:

  • the veins of betel (daun sirih) is more coarse than the piper sarmentosum (kaduk) leaf.
  • the smell of betel (daun sirih) is more pungent than the piper sarmentosum (kaduk) leaf. Can make appointment to have a smell of them both as I do plant both at home.
  • the betel (daun sirih) leaf is thicker and denser than the piper sarmentosum (kaduk) leaf.

Piper sarmentosum is a plant in the Piperaceae family used in many Southeast Asian cuisines. The leaves are often confused with betel [2], but they lack the intense taste of the betel leaves and are significantly smaller [3].

Betel (daun sirih) is a type of plant that climbing up. Which is better to put branch or bamboo for it to climb for better leaves growth.
Piper sarmentosum is a creeping plant. But it can also climb walls.

Till then, have fun in replanting your plants at home.
