This is taken on the noon of 14 June 2023. Where I managed to cook rice with pulut hitam (glutinous black rice) for lunch. It does look more purple than black.
However, the pulut hitam (glutinous black rice) did not cooked fluffy enough. Despite it is cooked using hot water that just boiled. Maybe need to experiment to soak the pulut hitam (glutinous black rice) at least 1 hour before cooking. Or add extra water and extra cooking time. Still need to learn and experiment.
Until then, enjoy a good purple looking rice for lunch food.
