I am surprised today to see the heart of pisang lemak manis from the one planted outside lab. Basically after 7 months and 24 days or 236 days planted it last 6 September 2018 [1]. It does follow best case scenario for pisang lemak manis plant to produce heart. Which is 6 to 7 months after it is planted.
The plant is quite skinny due to less fertilized soil condition. We have put organic fertilizer a lot in weekly basis. But seems not sufficient enough for it. Still I am grateful it able to produce heart on time for fruiting process.

The look of the heart and daun pengasuh. Daun pengasuh is the short leaves that comes out along with the banana heart. As indicated in red circle in below pictures.
To be frank, it feels nice to see the planted plant start bearing fruits. Only those who have experience it able to understand well.
Hopefully can get more than 3 sisir/sikat (bunch) of banana from this plant.
