My review on using Egyptian Magic cream

I buy this cream my own out of curiosity plus since I am having dry flaky issue on my skin due to lack of rest and sleep. All effort to save my skin condition that is getting worsen for my standard.
I choose Egyptian Magic cream after doing few research on its benefit plus testimonials from user.

From website it is stated that this is hand made of 100% pure natural ingredients [1] that consist of
- olive oil
- beeswax
- honey
- bee pollen
- royal jelly
- bee propolis

This is among the benefit from using Egyptian Magic cream [2]:

#1: Amazing moisturizer
People often start using Egyptian Magic to solve a skin problem such as a rash or burn or scar, and then continue using it as a skin moisturizer and as an anti-wrinkle skin care cream. We find that using it twice a day does wonders for creating soft, smooth skin.

Testimonial: “This product is a serious miracle worker. I use it almost every single day. After cleansing my face at night, I slather it all over my face and neck. By the time I wake up in the morning, my skin is happily moisturized (no matter how dry it was the night before).” – Lauren Conrad in “Ask Lauren: How do I fix dry skin?”

#2: Healing Burns
Egyptian Magic has been used to take away sting or burning sensation after minor burns including sunburn.

Testimonial: “Magic or not I have been using it on a burn I received while at work with the flat iron ( those things are hot!!). It’s almost completely healed and I’m pretty sure I won’t have a scar.” – Blogger Blush and Beyond in “A cult status beauty product”

#3: Treating Cuts and Scrapes
Our loyal fans keep an extra jar of Egyptian Magic in their first aid kit exclusively as a treatment for cuts and scrapes.

Testimonial: “My brother was diagnosed with cancer of the neck in August 2009 (…) he is now cancer free, but he has been dealing with the tumor/wound left behind. Meanwhile, he had been applying Egyptian Magic before, during and after the radiation treatments. Suffice it to say that the wound has improved dramatically and amazingly. Even his wound care specialist physician is amazed at the speed of his recovery. The difference has been the use of Egyptian Magic.” – Martin H. Columbia, SC

#4: Fading scars
Many of our customers have commented on Egyptian Magic’s “magical” ability to heal scars. Although we don’t recommend it for older scars, the cream can indeed work wonders to heal relatively recent scars and skin discolorations. Egyptian Magic is popular among many plastic surgeons, who recommend it to their patients for accelerating the healing of plastic surgery scars.

Testimonial: “Scars from insect bites and accidents and generally drier skin than usual, the cream has helped to improve the overall situation a lot!” – Blogger Rebecca Saw

#5: Eczema & Psoriasis Relief
We find that about one-third of our customers discover Egyptian Magic after looking for natural alternatives to commercial moisturizing creams as a treatment for eczema and psoriasis. Though different in nature, both of these conditions can often be treated by the twice-daily application of a moisturizing cream, according to several authorities. All-natural Egyptian Magic is an ideal choice.

Testimonial: “I am a pediatrician in private practice in New York City and Kauai. One of my patients brought in her child with a history of eczema (…) This child’s skin, weeks after using your product revealed none of its former patchy dryness or generalized “leatheriness.”” – Mark Nesselson, M.D. Pediatrician

“One day, when my eczema was getting really bad…I caved and thought, “Just get it…another balm won’t kill ya.” And so I did. It’s really a no nonsense, high quality, super effective balm that does a really job and keeping my eczema calm- in a toxin free way.” – Blogger Eighth and Wild

#6: Hair Conditioner
For many of our clients, one of the most delightful discoveries is how beneficial Egyptian Magic can be as a moisturizing hair conditioner – either on a regular basis or as a conditioning hot pack. Egyptian Magic’s all-natural ingredients will restore luster to your hair, replenish its natural oils, tame frizz and condition split ends. In an article in People Magazine actor Carlos Barnard explains he uses Egyptian Magic for hair care.

Testimonial: “I had a pretty big ‘fro going in high school,” says Carlos Bernard, 40. “My hair goes wild, curly wild.” Now he keeps it in line with hair tamer Egyptian Magic, a gift from his wife, actress Sharisse Baker-Bernard” – Actor Carlos Bernard in an interview from People Magazine

#7: Lip Balm
The natural ingredients will do wonders for your lips and give them new life.

Testimonial: “I have been using it all week as a base for my matte lipstick – it absorbs just enough to allow for good lipstick application but it still provides quite long-lasting moisture. Used as a lip balm, this pot would last into the next millennium!” – Model Ruth Crilly from A Model Recommends

#8: After shave
Your skin is sensitive especially after shaving. In many cases you may have scars and/or irritation as a side effect. Use Egyptian Magic as an after-shave for a soothing effect. Egyptian Magic contains no alcohol or chemicals that might cause your skin to dry out.

Testimonial: “My face is easily irritated by shaving and if I have to shave for a few days in a row I end up with very irritated, red skin that’s prone to ingrown hairs. The Egyptian Magic has stopped all of that. (…) The next morning I wake up with perfectly calm, moisturised and glowing skin. Oh and a smear of this will heal a shaving cut really quickly and prevent any scarring if you get a bad one.” – Blog Skin Care for Men

#9: After Sun Lotion
Egyptian Magic is often used by our clients as an after sun lotion. The cream gives a soothing effect and your sunburned skin may embrace the natural ingredients.

Testimonial: “All of your summer activities will be helped by this brilliant concoction. (…) We put it on bug bites to immediately stop itching, on sunburns to soothe, on your lips to protect and moisturize.” – Actress Cameron Diaz in The Body Book

#10: Vaginal Moisturizer and Lubricant
According to many gynecologists, such as Dr. Uzzi Rees of Beverly Hills, CA, Egyptian Magic works well as a natural vaginal moisturizer and lubricant.

#11: Hand and Cuticle cream
Many fans treat their nails by using Egyptian Magic to moisturize and soften rough cuticles. Rub some Egyptian Magic on your hands and cuticles just before going to sleep to find nourished, soft and revived hands in the morning.

Testimonial: “I can’t live without Egyptian Magic. I literally just slather it on my face — it’s genius. I’ve actually been using it to repair my chapped hands after my bleaching incident” – Model Dree Hemingway in an interview with Popsugar.

#12: Makeup remover
Egyptian Magic is also used as a safe all-natural makeup remover. Apply on your eyes, and use a cotton ball to gently wipe your eyes clean. Do the same with the rest of your face. Some of our fans use a wet cloth instead of a cotton ball. The natural oils should break down the oils in your makeup. Not only is your makeup gone, your skin is moisturized and ready for bed!

#13: Eye Cream
Replace your eye cream with Egyptian Magic by dabbing a small quantity around your eyes. Some of our fans swear by it and its moisturizing properties.

Testimonial: “I have been using it as an eye cream for over a month now and have noticed a BIG reduction in my crows feet..thank you Egyptian Magic!  You were my last stop before BOTOX!!  Woo Hoo!” – Blogger Christie Moeller

#16: Diaper Rash
Egyptian Magic is safe to use on babies and infants. As a non-irritating and petroleum-free formula, it is found to prevent and heal diaper rash, while moisturizing and soothing the baby’s sensitive skin. However, as with any skin care product, please consult your pediatrician before use and do not apply if your baby may have an allergy to bee products.

#17: During and After Pregnancy
We’ve heard from mothers who use Egyptian Magic for stretch marks and cracked nipples. They apply the balm on breasts, belly and thighs during pregnancy to prevent stretch marks and keep their skin soft and supple.

Testimonial: “Egyptian Magic is gentle enough to use on baby and certainly a miracle on stretching skin, leaving you feeling hydrated all day or night.” – Blogger Hunter and Rose in “Pregnancy Skin & Beauty Survival Guide”

#18: Makeup Primer
Loved by Hollywood celebrities, stylists and makeup artists, Egyptian Magic is often used as a skin primer to give a unique glow and prepare skin for makeup. Many makeup artists rely on it at every Fashion Week to create a dewy and glowing make-up look. They apply the balm on the entire face or to highlight specific features such as cheekbones, eyelids or eyebrows. Some fans have also been using Egyptian Magic to set their eyebrows. You can even mix a liquid illuminator with your Egyptian Magic and use as a highlighter for a light contouring!

Testimonial: “It is absorbed well by my normal-to-dry skin and left a nice glow. This gave me the idea to use it as highlighter to create a soft strobing effect, and yes, it worked well ;)” – Blogger Finds of Beauty

#19: Hydrating Face Mask
If your skin is feeling dry, tight or dull, apply Egyptian Magic as a face mask and let the natural ingredients sink in. Apply a layer of Egyptian Magic on your skin, leave for 30 minutes and remove with a hot cloth. Your skin should wake up feeling much more nourished! Some of our fans have been using the balm as a mask while traveling, during a flight for example as the air-conditioning in the plane has a tendency to dry your skin.

*Can read all the benefit in their website [1].

The receive package. I get 5 small of 3 ml trial pack and free gift of Klairs trial pack product
I bought the 59 ml of the Egyptian Magic cream. It have larger size that is 118 ml. You can buy them online.

It have soft plastic scent. Similar texture and scent with Vaseline, but 50% lighter texture than Vaseline and 40% thicker/dense like lip balm texture. Can read details on the cream texture here in this link [3].  The plastic scent is fast gone after each application. It is fast melted and absorbed by skin like when I am using shea butter cream by The Body Shop last time. Since few review said have to use sparingly in order to avoid over damp moisturized face, I do use it in a very small quantity and add when necessary. I do use my make up spatula in order for hygiene purpose to prolong the shelf life of the cream.

I use it today as my make up base for my very simple make up for work.
This is the result for day time
I just use it as base to moisturize my skin. Where I skip two (2) items : moisturizing serum and primer. Then I immediately put on CC cream from Elianto and put on blush then lipmatte as per pictures above. Just realize I skip concealer today 😳
I am using the same step as per my day make up application to freshen up my face after maghrib prayer. Just to have fresh instead of exhausted (more towards zombie looks😅).

Pros:
- Fast absorbed by my skin. Like when I am using shea butter cream by The Body Shop last time
- I do find my make up last longer. Which my blusher normally will fade off after 2-3 hours
- My skin also hydrate. No flaky dry skin at all. Regardless I forget to exfoliate my skin after washing my face this morning😌
- My pores also less visible
- It also give a healthy glow to my skin in a good way

Cons:
- I found that there is few red bumps on my skin beside my right nose area. However it is not itchy. Still, I need to be alert on such abnormality

Verdict:
Well, I still need to test this out for 1 whole week in order to justify whether it is a worth to be as my daily routine or not. So far, I am satisfied with the results after using it only as make up base.

Till then, have fun in maintaining a moisturized skin daily😉

My review on True MatteMoist - Baby Gia

One of lip matte that I use nowadays. This one is vibrant of shocking pink in my eyes after apply on my lips. However in selfie under natural light, seems to be soft towards nude pink.
After using my selfie ring light, able to see slight pink compare to under natural lighting.

Can see from bottom picture on right, my lips look normal red instead of pink😒
The lipmatte is very moisturizing. Easy to use also. It does last longer provided I didn't eat 😁 This lipmatte requires re-application after each meal.
The obvious lipstain😔
The only issue I have is this lipmatte stain my mug😅
It was in pack of two (2) = code Baby Gia (shocking pink) and Coralie (coral orange)
I manage to buy it during clearance sale last month. After this, they will no longer produce lipmatte as they are going to focus on matte lipstick.
Well, lucky for me for being able to buy it.
Till then, have a good pink working day ahead😂

Till then, have a good time colouring your lips😆

Retirement gift for UTM FKE lecturer

Yesterday the ECE department of Faculty of Electrical Engineering (FKE) in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) Skudai organized a farewell ceremony for Mr Zuraimi.
He has been with FKE UTM Skudai since year 1988 if I was not mistaken.
He is one of the panel for my final year project during my degree in UTM Skudai last time.
My boss suggested that we gift him herbs as gift instead of fancy gift since we are towards organic planting. After coming up with list of plants that I grew at home for him to choose, we finally decided to give him a mulberry tree. Since his kids can also benefit from the fruits.
Summary if yesterday event and the gift. The cat is not included in the gift pack😁
I make a gift pack consist of 3 feet long mulberry tree and half ripe papaya. My boss help to paste card and bring the gift pack to the event place. Since I have done my share by packing the gift.
Some of the other lecturers did mention that my gift is like following the 2017 Southeast Asian Games. Where the medalist given a basket of sapling instead of the traditionally a bouquet of flowers [1]. Well we have to go green regardless what and I prefer to encourage organic and fresh food supplies😉
It would be nice if can make a practise that every retiree to plant one tree before they go. I do think it also would be a good example for green environment.
Till then, have a good weekend for Johorean😉

My affectionate cat named Dell

He was given name Dell as a short one from model. Since he is very photogenic each time when his picture is taken.
He is also very affectionate. Love to kiss and also smolder me with too many forceful kisses till it hurts. As sometimes he press too hard/hug me tightly and his canine tooth/fang hurts me a lot😅
Can see how tall my papaya tree and banana tree from picture number 4
I manage to take few good selfie of us last week after I finish feeding him and cleaning up.
Can see how he pose nicely for a candid selfie.
Dell also quite obedient and manage to follow my instructions very well for a cat. He also behave well. The only issue is now hardly to hear his voice.
Last time when I am cleaning and shouting for his name, he didn't reply with a meow. Instead, he just raise his head from part where he lay nearby me. Talk about him being lazy😆
He is now 4.7 kg. I need to train him to exercise so that he will have more muscle instead of pot belly like now😅
Till then, have fun de-stressing with your pet😉

At that day, I am having a slight fever. And my supervisor already advise me to go home instead of joining the event since I am already looking quite red. However, since I am part of the committee and I know I have higher probability to win, I went for

I manage to get top score for woman's category😊
It was a nice memory and we have a really good time especially during karaoke session.
Nowadays, I prefer to unwind at home with my precious Dell (cat) and my plants.
So much different of my current activities with previous😅
Regardless what, as long it makes me happy I am fine with it.
Till then, have a fun time reminiscing the fun past and enjoy your current time😉
