As it is unbreakable and shatterproof. Have experienced more than once shattered mirror in bag. Now no more with peace of mind😄😍.

My review on perfume Hypnôse EDP for woman from Lancôme.

I owned this perfume since 2012. I just love the sourness of passion flower with vanilla drydown. This perfume does smells elegant and suitable to be used for formal function and dinner.
Also subtle enough to be used in hot and humid weather condition in Malaysia. Without cloying or even suffocating me and others despite vanilla note is part of it.

Perfume notes [1]:
  • Top Note: Passion Flower
  • Heart Note: Jasmine, Sunny Notes
  • Base Note: Vetiver, Vanilla

My way of enjoying 25th December public holiday this year.

I have been asked on how the Christmas celebration here. Well, I did not go out from my house. Just spend my time at home.
Below is among the list of my activities:
  • Spend time to tend after my plants with more focus on every bits of them. Water all of them. Make documentation of them. Spray organic neem based pest control
  • Spend time with my cats. The only day they can get more than 1 hour play time outside their room
  • Make home cooked meal.
  • Rest by taking day nap.
  • Wash clothes.
  • Watch Die Hard movie number 1 (year 1988) and 2 (year 1990) [1]. As it is with Christmas vibe in it.
Dell the cat who able to squeeze out from gate gap. But unable to find his way in

Furball being considerate and accompanying my resting time together.

Look of few pisang tanduk fruits emerging from its heart (inflorescence) today.

It has been 3 days after the heart (inflorescence) pisang tanduk come out last 22 December 2018 [1].

Hopefully the pisang tanduk fruits will fully out within 2 more days. Before end of 2018.
I nowadays keep close track of my plants growth in order to make sure that it will bear fruits and ready to harvest on time😊. Among my obsession to be in control of uncontrollables😂💪.
Till then, have fun in keeping growth track of your plants at home😉.

My brunch today: chicken porridge.

As my body is heating up since last night till this morning, I decided to make chicken porridge for my brunch today.
I am using
  • 202 gm frozen chicken
  • 1 small red onion, diameter around 3 cm
  • 2 garlic, size 2 cm x 1 cm
  • 1 turmeric leaf, size 6 cm x 6 cm
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 245 gm soaked rice
  • 800 ml water
  • Mode congee in my Elba pressure cooker [1]

Ratio rice and water is approximately 1:3 in this cooking session.

The finished cooked porridge:

After add 1 tsp kicap manis (sweet soy sauce).

New shoots from black sugar cane with dark coloured leaves.

I get this rare black sugar cane with dark coloured leaves last Friday, 21 Disember 2018. As my girlfriend wanted to throw it away. Since she no longer have the time to care for it.
I planted it the next day, Saturday. Today after 3 days being planted, 1 container produce near to 5 new shoots while 1 more produce 2 new shoots.

The withered look of my spearmint leaves infested by small hairy caterpillars.

I do notice my spearmint leaves lools withered yesterday. But do not have time to look into it as I need to get ready for work after watering them. Since today is public holiday, I manage to take time to take closer look on it. To my dismay, it was infested by lots of small hairy caterpillars.

Close up look the caterpillars.
I immediately make my organic with neem based pest control solution and spray all over the plant. So far, all the caterpillars was washed away due to strong spray from my pressurized spray.
At this point, image recognition and image processing can really contribute for pest detection and control. As plant death prevention could be done in faster manner. Since not all people have time to carefully look one by one their planted plants in daily basis.
Hopefully the spearmint plant will recover from it by tomorrow onwards.
Till then, have fun in tending after your plants at home this public holiday😉💪.

My current massage oil for my aching body after gardening works.

These are among my current massage oil that I have used since 2011. The brand name is Minyak Urut Serai Wangi. 2 types  or version of it. Which is hot and cold.

Hot type:
This is not suitable for sensitive skin. For me, it does give fast relief. Especially when I am having very aching body after an activity that require physical strength. Such as gardening.
