Why I am willing to invest for a good make up brushes :
1) able to get and pull off good make up look
2) even and smooth make up application
3) more hygiene. As able to reduce my hand usage.
I am able to see improvement to my make up application after investing in Real Technique (RT) make up brushes in February 2014 [1]. This is after almost 7 years venturing in make up application world. I do start receiving compliment after using them in daily basis. Where I myself able to see improvement of my make up application. As it have become much smoother, well blended. Since then, there is no turning back for me. It even urges and inspired me to learn more about make up brushes.
Personally I need at least 5 pieces of make up brushes for my daily usage:
Where for me, Zoeva Rose Golden Luxury set of 8 pieces is sufficient enough. But I need to add spoolie brush since the eyeliner/eyebrow brush is not dual ended.
So far I like my 6 pieces of Hakuho-do+Sephora pro brush collection that I add Anastasia Beverly Hills No 12 brush [6].
- Foundation brush
- Powder brush
- Dual ended eyebrow brush with spoolie. For example my favourite is Anastasia Beverly Hills (ABH) No 12 brush [5]
- *Crease brush for eyeshadow application
- Blush brush
Where for me, Zoeva Rose Golden Luxury set of 8 pieces is sufficient enough. But I need to add spoolie brush since the eyeliner/eyebrow brush is not dual ended.
So far I like my 6 pieces of Hakuho-do+Sephora pro brush collection that I add Anastasia Beverly Hills No 12 brush [6].
My conclusions:
1) good tools (make up brushes) combined with good skills does amplifies percentage in getting better result of make up application. They complement each other
2) good make up brushes able to assist in delivering good result despite only using drugstore cosmetics
3) good make up brushes normally softer to your skin. Means less possibility for it to harm your precious skin
4) good make up brushes last longer under a very good care. That is why need to clean it correctly using correct and soft cleanser [7]. Then tend after it using shaping wrap to keep it in good shape after it is dry [8].
