My attempt in making chicken porridge to fight off my dry flu.

Since I am feeling slightly better than yesterday, I decided to make chicken porridge since I am still under dry flu.
Among the fresh ingredients from my house compound.
Ginger leaf, lime leaf, turmetic leaf and lemongrass.
Tumis (sauteé) garlic, ginger leaf and lime leaf with butter.
In order to get nice buttery garlic scent.

Putting in the frozen chicken around 300 gm.

Adding in 2/3 cup of rice with pandan leaf.
The rice has been kept in the fridge for almost 2 days. I bring it to the lab last Tuesday to complement the cooked marinated chicken [2]. But end not  use it and eat it with noodles instead. I used 2/3 cup (185 gm) of rice here [3]. Easier for me to use measurement cup when I scoop rice for cooking than measure using digital scale [4]. Especially when in hurry or unwell.
Adding in turmeric leaf and lemongrass.
I also add 1/4 teaspoon (or 1 teaspoon using kfc spoon) of salt for taste and 700 ml water to the mixture. After I put everything in the pressure cooker, I choose porridge/congee mode and leave it to cook.
Hopefully it will turn out well. Which it did [1]. Thankfully the pressure cooker is with me at home today. If not, it will take longer for me to cook it in my lunch box [5].

Till then, have fun in cooking your own chicken porridge in unwell condition💪.
